Abstract
Hewan adalah salah satu makhluk hidup yang tidak bisa terpisahkan dengan kehidupan manusia. Bumi sebagai tempat kehidupan manusia juga memiliki jenis lingkungan dan habitat yang beragam bagi hewan. Manusia yang menetap tersebar di berbagai lingkungan akan sering hidup berdekatan dengan beraneka ragam hewan. Beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi di antara manusia dan hewan, seperti perburuan terhadap hewan liar, hewan langka yang terancam punah, penyerangan hewan buas terhadap manusia, kecelakaan antara kendaraan dengan hewan di jalan, dan lain-lain. Upaya pencegahan konflik di antara manusia dan hewan dapat dilakukan salah satunya dengan cara memanfaatkan teknologi deteksi dan klasifikasi objek untuk mendeteksi keberadaan dan mengenali hewan. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan Convolutional Neural Network dengan algoritma You Only Look Once (YOLO) untuk membuat sistem deteksi dan klasifikasi atau pengenalan hewan berdasarkan gambar atau rekaman video secara realtime yang dikemas dalam aplikasi mobile.

Animals are living things that cannot be separated from human life. Earth as a place for human life also has various types of environments and habitats for animals. Humans who live scattered in various environments will often live in close proximity to a wide variety of animals. Some of the problems that occur between humans and animals, such as hunting of wild animals, rare animals that are endangered, attacks by wild animals on humans, accidents between vehicles and animals on the road, and others. Efforts to prevent conflict between humans and animals can be carried out, one of which is by utilizing object detection and classification technology to detect the presence and recognize animals. This research will use a Convolutional Neural Network with the You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm to create a system for detecting and classifying or recognizing animals based on real-time images or video recordings packaged in a mobile application.
