Abstract

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) membentuk program studi sarjana terapan melalui Peraturan Rektor Nomor 13 Tahun 2019 yang kemudian dinaungi oleh Fakultas Vokasi dimana terbagi ke dalam enam departemen. Kinerja setiap departemen dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan dapat diukur berdasarkan hasil akreditasi, salah satu unsur penilaiannya merupakan lama waktu tunggu lulusan untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan yang dapat diketahui melalui tracer study secara rutin oleh setiap program studi. Risiko terhambatnya pengumpulan data akibat tidak terintergrasinya database lulusan menjadi kendala manajemen fakultas maupun departemen ketika pelaksanaan akreditasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik lulusan dan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap lama waktu tunggu lulusan mendapatkan pekerjaan menggunakan Regresi Cox Proportional Hazard yang diterapkan dalam aplikasi berbasis website entry data. Regresi tersebut digunakan karena dilakukan penelitian terhadap waktu survival, yaitu waktu tunggu lulusan Fakultas Vokasi ITS dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan yang diaplikasikan ke dalam rancang bangun website entry data dan prediksi. Rancang bangun aplikasi berbasis website menggunakan R Shiny ini membuat suatu sistem entry data dan memprediksi lama waktu tunggu lulusan Fakultas Vokasi ITS mendapatkan pekerjaan. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah waktu tunggu tercepat mendapatkan pekerjaan oleh mahasiswa lulusan Fakultas Vokasi ITS adalah 0 hari dengan faktor yang berpengaruh adalah pengalaman bekerja, kesesuaian pekerjaan dengan bidang ilmu, dan asal departemen. Hasil visualisasi ini dapat dilihat dengan aplikasi berbasis website menggunakan R Shiny yang memiliki menu dashboard, Tabel data, dan input database yang diharapkan dapat menjawab kebutuhan Fakultas Vokasi ITS dalam melaksanakan tracer study terhadap karakteristik lulusan sebagai langkah evaluasi dan pengembangan mutu Fakultas Vokasi ITS

Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) formed an applied undergraduate study program through Rector's Regulation Number 13 of 2019 which was then shaded by the Vocational Faculty which was divided into six departments. The performance of each department in providing education can be measured based on the results of accreditation, one of the elements of the assessment is the length of waiting time for graduates to get a job which can be known through a routine tracer study by each study program. The risk of hampering data collection due to the non-integration of graduate databases becomes an obstacle for faculty and department management when implementing accreditation. This study aims to determine the characteristics of graduates and the factors that influence the length of waiting time for graduates to get a job using Cox Proportional Hazard Regression which is applied in a website-based data entry application. The regression is used because research is carried out on survival time, namely the waiting time for ITS Vocational Faculty graduates to get a job which is applied to the design and construction of a data entry and prediction website. The design of a website-based application using R Shiny creates a data entry system and predicts the length of waiting time for ITS Vocational Faculty graduates to get a job. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the fastest waiting time to get a job by students who graduate from the ITS Vocational Faculty is 0 days with influential factors being work experience, job suitability with the field of science, and the origin of the department. The results of this visualization can be seen with a website-based application using R Shiny which has a dashboard menu, data tables, and database inputs which are expected to answer the needs of the ITS Vocational Faculty in carrying out a tracer study of graduate characteristics as a step of evaluation and quality development of the ITS Vocational Faculty
