Abstract
Selama ini pengangkutan botol di CV. Kecap Jeruk Pecel dikerjakan secara manual. Jarak dari tempat kosong ke tutup botol adalah 16 meter, botol kecap yang harus dibawa sebanyak 20.800 botol setiap harinya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang prototipe belt conveyor yang dapat memindahkan botol dengan kapasitas 2600 botol per jam. Pada prototipe desain ini, panjang ban berjalan diatur menjadi 2,5 meter. Dalam perancangan prototipe belt conveyor berkapasitas 2600 botol per jam, perlu dilakukan pembuatan sketsa alat dengan menggunakan software solidwork. Kemudian dilakukan beberapa perhitungan pada alat yaitu menentukan daya motor yang dibutuhkan, transmisi belt dan pulley, perencanaan poros dan simulasi pada poros kepala pulley. Selanjutnya dapat dilakukan perakitan dan pengujian pada prototype mesin belt conveyor. Hasil perhitungan prototipe mesin belt conveyor adalah spesifikasi mesin, tegangan maksimum dengan perhitungan manual adalah 2,543 kgf/mm2, tegangan maksimum pada simulasi adalah 2,557 kgf/mm2, perpindahan poros maksimum pada simulasi adalah 3 mm, nilai safety factor 2,113 , hasil percobaan kapasitas mesin 2581 botol per jam dan margin error antara perhitungan manual dan hasil simulasi adalah sebesar 0,89%

So far, the transportation of bottles at CV. Kecap Jeruk Pecel is done manually. The distance from the empty to the bottle cap is 16 meters, the soy sauce bottles that must be carried are 20,800 bottles every day. The purpose of this research is to design a prototype belt conveyor that can move bottles with a capacity of 2600 bottles per hour. In this design prototype, the length of the conveyor belt is set to 2.5 meters. In designing a prototype belt conveyor with a capacity of 2600 bottles per hour, it is necessary to draw a sketch of the tool using solidwork software. Then some calculations are carried out on the tool, namely, determining the required motor power, belt and pulley transmission, shaft planning and simulation on the pulley head shaft. Furthermore, assembly and testing can be carried out on a prototype belt conveyor machine. The results of the calculation of the prototype belt conveyor machine are machine specifications, the maximum stress with manual calculations is 2.543 kgf/mm2, the maximum stress in the simulation is 2,557 kgf/mm2, the maximum displacement of the shaft in the simulation is 3 mm, safety factor value is 2,113 , the experimental result of the machine capacity is 2581 bottles per hour and the margin of error between manual calculations and simulation results is equal to 0,89%
