Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk membandingkan aktivitas antioksidan yang meliputi butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) dan butylated hydroxy toluene (BHT). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode 2,2-difenil-1-pikrilhidrazil (DPPH) yang digunakan untuk menilai sifat antioksidannya dan aktivitas pemulungan radikal. BHA menunjukan aktivitas yang tinggi pada IC50 sebesar 0.272 terbukti sebagai antioksidan yang kuat dengan menunjukkan aktivitas penangkapan radikal yang tinggi, sedangkan BHT dengan nilai IC50 0.176 menunjukkan aktivitas rendah. Peningkatan konsentrasi menghasilkan peningkatan daya antioksidan

This study was conducted to compare the antioxidant activity of butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxy toluene (BHT).
