Abstract
Pabrik fraksinasi lignoselulosa dilakukan melalui pre-treatment steam explosion dan isolasi lignin dengan delignifikasi alkali. Pabrik fraksinasi lignoselulosa ini diharapkan akan menghasilkan hemiselulosa dan selulosa yang dapat dikonversi menjadi bioethanol sebesar 56.65 %. Pabrik ini direncanakan untuk berjalan dengan kapasitas 6,236.922 ton hemiselulosa dan 13,200.454 ton selulosa atau jika dikonversi yaitu sebesar 17,700,000 L bioethanol per tahun. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah tandan kosong kelapa sawit. Pendirian pabrik fraksinasi lignoselulosa direncanakan dibangun di Kawasan industri Dumai-Provinsi Riau, dengan pertimbangannya adalah ketersediaan bahan baku yang melimpah, ketersediaan air melimpah, sumber energi listrik memadai, jumlah tenaga kerja pada usia kerja memenuhi dan topologi daerah yang memadai. Proses pre-treatment menggunakan steam explosion reactor dilakukan pada suhu 190℃ selama 15 menit dengan diinjeksikan saturated steam bertekanan tinggi. Konversi hemiselulosa, selulosa dan lignin setelah pre-treatment steam explosion berturut-turut sebesar 82.56%, 90.15%, 87.02%. Untuk proses isolasi lignin digunakan metode delignifikasi alkali dengan menggunakan NaOH 1% (w/v) pada suhu 100℃ selama 60 menit. Konversi lignin dari delignifikasi alkali yaitu sebesar 91.15%. Sumber dana investasi berasal dari modal sendiri 60% dan pinjaman jangka pendek 40% dengan bunga 8.00% per tahun. Dari analisa ekonomi, didapatkan penaksiran modal (CAPEX) sebesar Rp. 638,024,510,041 dan biaya operasional (OPEX) sebesar Rp. 417,850,732,203. Hasil Penjualan produk per tahun sebesar Rp. 669,761,792,142 dengan IRR 22.15%, waktu pengembalian produk 4 tahun 8 bulan dan NPV sebesar Rp. 1,129,735,292,889.72 (positif). Berdasarkan data analisa kelayakan di atas disimpulkan bahwa pabrik ini layak untuk didirikan

The lignocellulosic fractionation plant was carried out through steam explosion pre-treatment and lignin isolation by alkaline delignification. The lignocellulosic fractionation plant is expected to produce hemicellulose and cellulose which can be converted into 56.65% bioethanol. This plant is planned to run with a capacity of 6,236,922 tons of hemicellulose and 13,200,454 tons of cellulose or if converted, that is 17,700,000 L of bioethanol per year. The raw material used is empty palm fruit bunches. The establishment of a lignocellulosic fractionation plant is planned to be built in the industrial area of Dumai-Riau Province, taking into account the abundant availability of raw materials, abundant water availability, adequate sources of electrical energy, sufficient number of working age workforce and adequate regional topology. The pre-treatment process using a steam explosion reactor was carried out at a temperature of 190℃ for 15 minutes by injecting high pressure saturated steam. The conversion of hemicellulose, cellulose and lignin after steam explosion pre-treatment was 82.56%, 90.15%, 87.02%, respectively. For the lignin isolation process, an alkaline delignification method was used using 1% NaOH (w/v) at 100℃ for 60 minutes. The conversion of lignin from alkaline delignification is 91.15%. Sources of investment funds come from 60% own capital and 40% short-term loans with interest of 8.00% per year. From the economic analysis, the estimated capital (CAPEX) is Rp. 638,024,510,041 and operational costs (OPEX) of Rp. 417,850,732,203. Product sales results per year of Rp. 669,761,792,142 with an IRR of 22.15%, a product return period of 4 years and 8 months and an NPV of Rp. 1,129,735,292,889.72 (positive).
