Abstract
Ikan merupakan salah satu hasil laut yang sangat melimpah di Indonesia dan sangat berpotensi di bidang industri. Pada umumnya ikan perlu dikeringkan agar memperlambat proses pembusukan. Para nelayan menggunakan teknik pengeringan konvensional namun itu tidak dapat selalu digunakan karena terkendala oleh cuaca yang tak menentu. Pada umumnya waktu yang diperlukan untuk proses pengeringan ikan 2–3 hari. Maka, dibutuhkan alat untuk menunjang hal tersebut serta bagaimana agar proses pengeringan ikan dapat lebih efektif. Proses pengeringan ikan dilakukan dengan meletakkan kolektor surya di bawah panas matahari sebagai sumber energi. Kolektor surya tersebut akan meningkatan temperature panas matahari seiring dari desain kolektor yang kemudian dimanfaatkan untuk proses pengeringan ikan di dalam ruang pengering. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa kolektor surya dengan penambahan turbin ventilator mampu mengeringkan ikan lebih baik, hal ini dapat dilihat dari kapasitas aliran udara pengeringan yang dihasilkan kolektor surya dengan penambahan turbin ventilator lebih besar 28,488% dibanding kolektor surya tanpa penambahan turbin ventilator. Kolektor surya dengan penambahan turbin ventilator dapat mengeringkan ikan “kepala batu” dari massa awal 2kg menjadi 1,36kg lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kolektor surya tanpa penambahan turbin ventilator yang dapat mengeringkan ikan dari massa awal 2kg menjadi 1,448kg dalam selang waktu 6 jam.

Fish is one of the results of the sea are very abundant in Indonesia and is potentially in the field of industry. In General, fish need to be drained in order to slow down the process of decay. The fishermen using conventional drying techniques but it cannot always be used because constrained by erratic weather. In general the time needed for drying fish 2-3 days. Then, it is a tool to support it as well as how to fish drying process can be more effective. Fish drying process is carried out by placing the Solar Collector under the heat of the Sun as an energy source. The solar collectors will increase the temperature of the Sun's heat as a collector's design was later used for the drying process of the fish in the dryer. The process of drying fish are done by placing the solar collectors on the sun as source of energy. The solar collector will increase as the temperature solar thermal collector design which is then used for drying fish in the drying chamber. Data which got shows that solar collector with additioning of ventilator turbine capable to dry the fish better, this thing can be looked from air flow capacity that produced by solar collector with additioning ventilator turbine 28,488% bigger than solar collector without additioning ventilator turbine. Solar collector with additioning ventilator turbine can dry the ‘kepala batu’ fish with initial mass of 2 kilograms become 1,36 kilograms is better than solar collector without additioning ventilator turbine that can only dry the fish with initial mass 2 kilograms become 1,448 kilograms in 6 hours of interval time.
