Abstract

The responsibilities and demands of academic life on students can be part of the stress that students usually experience. Academy stressors are stress experienced by students sourced from the learning process or related to learning activities. The purpose of this study was to determine the stress level of ITS Business Statistics Department students using the binary logistic regression method. This research will examine what variables affect the stress level of ITS Business Statistics Department students using the binary logistic regression method. Respondents were randomly drawn from each batch of 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. The instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of variable data that allegedly influenced student stress and statements about stress levels with Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale 42 (DASS 42). The benefits obtained are as information about the stress level of ITS Business Statistics Department students and influencing variables and can provide advice to the department how to minimize the stress level of ITS Business Statistics Department students. The results obtained were from sixteen predictor variables that were suspected to affect student stress levels, there were three that had a significant effect on the stress levels of ITS Business Statistics Department students, namely the class year variable, organizational participation variable, and non-academic achievement variable.
