Abstract
Ruang ICU merupakan ruang rawat inap intensif yang digunakan oleh pasien yang membutuhkan pengawasan secara intens. Menurut British Standard EN-12464-1, untuk pemeriksaan sederhana, diperlukan kuat pencahayaan rata-rata sebesar 300 lux, indeks kesilauan maksimal 19 dan keseragaman sebesar 0,6. Sistem pencahayaan yang ada saat ini menghasilkan kuat pencahayaan rata-rata sebesar 280 lux, indeks kesilauan 14 dan keseragaman 0,6. Dari hasil tersebut perlu dilakukan perancangan desain sistem pencahayaan buatan. Walaupun indeks kesilauan telah memenuhi standar, namun tetap terdapat keluhan dari pasien terhadap silau. Simulasi desain sistem pencahayaan buatan dilakukan dengan variasi luminer dan peletakan luminer yang digunakan. Desain sistem pencahayaan terbaik didapat dengan menggunakan 1 buah luminer pada atap, dan 1 buah luminer pada dinding, yang menghasilkan kuat pencahayaan rata-rata sebesar 318, keseragaman 0,6 dan glare index sebesar 9,9.

ICU room is intensive care room for patients who need intens examination. According to British Standard EN-12464-1, for simple examination, the average illumination of ICU room must be 300 lux, the UGRL is not greater than 19, and uniformity is not lower than 0,6. The current artificial lighting of ICU generating average illumination of 280 lux, 14 UGRL, and 0,6 unformity. Although, the UGRL has met the standard, but there are complaints against glare. Simulation of artificial lighting system done by variety of luminaire and luminaire laying used. The best design obtained by using one luminaire on the roof, and one luminaire on the wall, which result average illumination of 318 lux, 9,9 UGRL, and 0,6 unformity.
