Abstract

Manajemen persediaan material merupakan salah satu faktor penting untuk menciptakan keandalan dan efisiensi dalam industri tenaga listrik bidang pembangkitan, transmisi dan distribusi serta harus dijaga kontinuitasnya agar tidak menyebabkan terganggunya kegiatan operasi. Kebutuhan material cadang mesin pembangkit listrik digunakan pada saat kegiatan pemeliharaan, seperti overhaul, pemeliharaan preventive dan pemeliharaan corrective. Pembangkit listrik XYZ merupakan salah satu pembangkit listrik tenaga uap dengan jenis mulut tambang yang berada di luar pulau Jawa dan berstatus sebagai pembangkit listrik yang harus selalu beroperasi. Nilai perputaran material cadang PLTU XYZ yang fluktuatif setiap bulannya dan cenderung belum optimal. Key performa indicator gudang PLTU XYZ menunjukkan aspek service level, purchase effectiveness dan penurunan material dead stock dapat mencapai target, namun pada indikator perputaran material tidak dapat dicapai. Hal tesebut dikarenakan tidak adanya standar yang jelas mengenai klasifikasi material stock overhaul dan rutin pada material pembangkit, sehingga berdampak pada akurasi setting ROP EOQ yang rendah dan membuat perputaran material rendah. Penelitian dilakukan dengan beberapa metode untuk melakukan analisis manajemen material pada persediaan PLTU XYZ, di antaranya dengan menerapkan metode analisis ABC untuk menentukan klasifikasi material kategori stock overhaul dan rutin kemudian dikombinasikan dengan metode just in time. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan analisis ABC terutama pada setting material rutin dan non rutin terdapat 12 material yang mengalami peningkatan kelas yaitu dari non rutin menjadi insurance sebanyak 5 item dan dari non rutin menjadi rutin sebanyak 7 item. Kemudian terdapat 40 material yang mengalami penurunan kelas yaitu dari overhaul dan project menjadi non rutin sebanyak 1 item dan dari rutin menjadi non rutin sebanyak 39 item. Metode pemesanan material menggunakna EOQ berpotensi menghemat Rp 51.972.826, -. Implementasi just in time pada material non rutin menggunakan kartu kanban untuk perputaran materialnya.

Material inventory management is one of the important factors to create reliability and efficiency in the electric power industry in the field of generation, transmission and distribution and must be maintained continuously so as not to cause disruption to operations. The material requirements for power plant engine parts are used during maintenance activities, such as overhaul, maintenance preventive and maintenanc ecorrective. The XYZ power plant is a steam power plant with a mine mouth type located outside Java and has the status of a power plant that must always operate. The material turnover value for PLTU XYZ fluctuates every month and tends to be not optimal. Key performa indicator PLTU XYZ warehouse shows aspects service level, purchase effectiveness and material reduction dead stock can reach the target, but the material turnover indicator cannot be achieved. This is due to the absence of clear standards regarding material classification stock overhauls and routines on generator material, thus impacting the accuracy of the ROP EOQ setting which is low and makes material turnover low. The research was carried out using several methods to analyze material management at PLTU XYZ inventory, including by applying the ABC analysis method to determine the classification of material categories stock overhauls and routines then combined with the method just in time. The results of this study indicate the application of ABC analysis, especially in routine and non-routine material settings, there are 12 materials that have increased in class, from non-routine to insurance as many as 5 items and from non-routine to routine as many as 7 items. Then there were 40 materials that experienced a downgrade, namely from overhaul and project to non-routine as much as 1 item and from routine to non-routine as many as 39 items. The material ordering method using EOQ has the potential to save IDR 51,972,826. Implementation of just in time on non-routine materials using kanban cards for material turnover.
