Abstract

Perusahaan yang dilakukan penelitan merupakan industri manufaktur yang bergerak dalam pembuatan produk militer untuk pertahanan dan komersil untuk kebutuhan institusi transportasi. Kebijakan maintenance perusahaan masih belum efektif. Penerapan tindakan pemeliharaan dengan metode failure mode effect critically(FMECA) dan reliability centered maintenance(RCM) dilakukan untuk memperbaiki sistem pemeliharaannya. Mesin kritis pada lini sand plant disamatic adalah mesin disamatic 2013 MK4 yang berfungsi untuk membuat cetakan pasir dari pattern yang telah disediakan. Komponen kritis ditentukan dengan metode FMECA menghasilkan 3 komponen kritis dengan kategori critical yaitu bearing, clamping, dan valve. Kebijakan pemeliharaan dengan metode RCM yaitu schedule on discard pada komponen clamping patah dan bearing retak dan schedule on restoration pada sambungan clamping lepas dan membran valve bocor. Metode Age replacement dengan kriteria minimasi downtime juga dilakukan sebagai bentuk preventive maintenance yang hanya dilakukan pada komponen clamping yang memiliki karakteristik increasing failure rate(IFR). Interval pergantian pencegahan clamping pada hari ke 63 dengan downtime minimal yaitu 0,048473. Reliability komponen pada interval pergantian yaitu pada range 65% dan dapat meningkatkan reliability cumulative(Rmt).

Company conducting research is engaged in the manufacturing industry, producing military products for defense purposes and commercial products for transportation institutions.. The company's maintenance policy is still ineffective. To improve the maintenance system, the company implemented maintenance actions using the FMECA and RCM methods. The critical machine in the sand plant line is the Disamatic 2013 machine, which is responsible for creating sand molds from provided patterns. The critical components were determined using the FMECA method, resulting in three critical components in the critical category: bearing, clamping, and valve. The maintenance policy using the RCM method involves schedule on discard for the broken clamping component and cracked bearing, and schedule on restoration for the loose clamping connection and leaking valve membrane. Age replacement method with criteria minimization of downtime is also implemented as a form of preventive maintenance, specifically for the clamping component, which has an increasing failure rate (IFR) characteristic. The preventive replacement interval for clamping is set at 63 days with a minimum downtime of 0.048473. The component's reliability during the replacement interval is within the range of 65% and can improve the cumulative reliability (Rmt.
