Abstract

Industri merupakan salah satu sektor terpenting. Operasi yang handal dan aman menjadi goal dari setiap perusahaan. Mesin disamatic adalah mesin pencetak pasir dan merupakan mesin paling kritikal di area disamatic PT. XYZ. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan analisis Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) dan studi Hazard and Operability (HAZOP). Analisis RAMS dimulai dengan pemodelan sistem menggunakan Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) dan didapatkan terdapat 19 komponen yang terhubung secara seri. Hubungan seri menandakan jika salah satu komponen mengalami kegagalan, maka sistem keseluruhan akan mengalami kegagalan. Analisis dilanjutkan dengan perhitungan RAM untuk masing-masing komponen. Reliability total dari mesin disamatic didapatkan dari hasil perkalian reliability seluruh komponen dan diketahui menurun hingga 50% hanya dalam waktu 7 jam operasi. Dilakukan pula analisis Reliability under preventive maintenance dengan failure rate dan didapatkan 4 dari 19 komponen bisa diberi perlakuan Preventive Maintenance (PM). PM dilakukan dengan interval waktu berdasarkan variasi tingkat reliability pada 75%, 65%, dan 55% untuk dibandingkan hasil peningkatan reliability yang paling maksimal. Studi HAZOP dilakukan dengan menggunakan node langkah-langkah mesin disamatic. HAZOP dilakukan untuk mengetahui tingkat risiko yang bisa terjadi pada mesin disamatic menggunakan penilaian severity dan likelihood. Didapatkan 47% risiko merupakan risiko rendah, 40% risiko menengah, 10% risiko tinggi, dan 3% risiko sangat rendah. Pada studi HAZOP juga dilakukan pemberian rekomendasi untuk masing-masing deviasi dengan tujuan menurunkan tingkat risiko seperti instalasi sensor paralel, inspeksi rutin, dan penggantian komponen dengan material yang lebih baik.

Industry is one of the most important sectors. Reliable and safe operations are the goals of every company. The Disamatic machine is a sand molding machine and the most critical machine in the Disamatic area of PT. XYZ. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) analysis and Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) study. RAMS analysis starts with system modeling using a Reliability Block Diagram (RBD), and it is found that there are 19 components connected in series. The series connection indicates that if one component fails, the entire system will fail. The analysis continues with RAM calculations for each component. The overall reliability of the Disamatic machine is obtained by multiplying the reliability of all components, and it is known to decrease by 50% in just 7 hours of operation. Reliability analysis under maintenance is also performed using the failure rate, and it is found that 4 out of 19 components can undergo Preventive Maintenance (PM). PM is carried out with time interval based on variations in reliability levels at 75%, 65%, and 55% to compare the maximum increase in reliability. The HAZOP study is conducted using node steps of the Disamatic machine. HAZOP is performed to determine the level of risk that can occur in the Disamatic machine using severity and likelihood assessments. It is found that 47% of the risks are low, 40% are medium, 10% are high, and 3% are very low. The HAZOP study also includes recommendations for each deviation with the aim of reducing the level of risk, such as installing parallel sensors, conducting routine inspections, and replacing components with better materials.
