Abstract

The construction of the LNG regasification terminal will be located in Area 70 owned by PT. Pertamina International (KPI) Refinery Unit (RU) IV Cilacap Refinery, Central Java. There are three jetties in Area 70 which were built in 1975, namely; Jetty 70-1, Jetty 70-2, and Jetty 70-3, these three structures previously served as oil transfer facilities from ships to be transferred to onshore storage. With the development of a regasification terminal at that location, jetty 70-1 will function as an LNG terminal. The structure of the 70-1 jetty, which has been in operation for 48 years, needs to be analyzed for its strength and reliability, whether it can still withstand the existing 35.000 DWT ship load, and plans to increase the vessel load leaning on the jetty up to 50.000 DWT. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the existing conditions and after the addition of the ship's load were still in a safe condition, with a maximum capacity ratio of the structure of 0,7834 less than 1 and a pile deflection of 0,013302 m less than the allowable deflection limit of 0,04, which indicates that
the structure is still in a safe condition. And reliability smallest value of the Jetty 70-1 structure is 0,98491 with a probability of failure is 0,01059, and the smallest reliability index is 2,1. From the final project results, the jetty 70-1 pile structure is still in a safe condition and does not require structural modifications to withstand ship load up to 50.000 DWT.
