Abstract

Electricity is an important component in life because almost all activities require electrical energy. The increasing need for conventional electricity can result in an electricity crisis that occurs at any time. To meet these needs, alternative energy is needed that can help get a supply of electrical energy. On the ITS campus, 4 Solar Power Plants (PLTS) have been installed which are used to help provide electricity on campus. These four PLTS have a monitoring system that is used to read the variables resulting from the four PLTS that have been installed. However, the four monitoring systems are limited to providing data, which hinders users from reading data on the PLTS. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of designing a new monitoring system in the form of a dashboard that can read the variables of the four PLTS based on Internet of Things (IoT). In this final project research, a dashboard will be designed that will read the variables of the four PLTS on the ITS campus. This dashboard will also have a logging function and will be able to display data analysis from logging results. This dashboard system is also open source, which means it can provide space for development in the future.
