Abstract

Women in Sukomaju A Hamlet, Lebakharjo Village, actively participate in joint responsibility groups coordinated by officers from PNM Mekaar to obtain business credit. This program can be classified as empowering women through inclusive financial services. Through the use of quantitative methods with correlation analysis aimed at examining the effect of the Mekaar Program on economic independence for 90 customers in the 2022 loan period. Also, the use of qualitative research methods aimed at analyzing the effect of empowering women participating in the Mekaar Program. Then the results of quantitative research were obtained, namely the simultaneous correlation of education variables, number of family members, Mekaar Credit, Credit other than Mekaar, Turnover, and Husband's Income to Economic Independence with a fairly close degree of relationship. Then in the bivariate correlation, it was found that the Mekaar Education and Credit variables were not correlated and not significantly related partially. The variable number of family members and credit other than Mekaar has a weak degree of bivariate correlation and is not partially related. Only the turnover and husband's income variables have a degree of correlation that is quite close and significantly related partially. Then from the qualitative analysis on the five levels of achievement of women's empowerment in the Longwe Framework, namely welfare, access, awareness, participation, and control, there are still limitations and partner interventions that influence client empowerment.
