Abstract
Dry dock/graving dock merupakan salah satu fasilitas docking kapal berupa kolam besar yang berada di tepi laut atau sungai dan memiliki salah satu fitur yaitu pintu (gate) untuk proses keluar masuk kapal dan menahan air agar tidak masuk ke dalam graving dock. Salah satu jenis graving dock gate adalah floating dock gate atau pintu apung dok. Salah satu syarat keamanan pintu apung adalah memiliki stabilitas positif, dalam artian memiliki kemampuan untuk mempertahankan posisi awalnya ketika mengalami kemiringan dalam kondisi operasi sehari-hari atau pada saat mengalami insiden yang menyebabkan kebocoran pada pintu apung. Pada tugas akhir ini membahas pemodelan ulang pintu apung dok PT. DAK Unit Selindung yang memiliki masalah stabilitas negatif. Perhitungan yang dilakukan adalah perhitungan ulang konstruksi dan perhitungan ulang stabilitas (intact stability dan damage stability) menggunakan aplikasi elemen hingga Maxsurf Modeller dan Maxsurf Stability. Perhitungan pada tugas akhir ini mengikuti peraturan dari BKI Volume II: Rules of Hull. Hasil perhitungan ulang konstruksi dan perhitungan ulang stabilitas pintu apung baru jauh lebih baik daripada pintu apung PT. DAK dan telah memenuhi standar BKI Volume II: Rules of Hull serta memiliki kemampuan untuk menahan kebocoran sebanyak satu tangki saat terjadi kebocoran.

Dry dock/graving dock is one of the ship docking facilities in the form of a large pond located on the edge of the sea or river and has one of the features, namely a gate for the process of going in and out of the ship and holding water so it does not enter the graving dock. One type of graving dock gate is a floating dock gate. One of the safety requirements of a floating door is having positive stability, in the sense of having the ability to maintain its initial position when tilted in daily operating conditions or when experiencing an incident that causes a leak in the floating door. This final project discusses the remodeling of the PT. DAK Unit Selindung which has a negative stability problem. The calculations performed are construction recalculation and stability recalculation (intact stability and damage stability) using the Maxsurf Modeller and Maxsurf Stability finite element applications. Calculations in this final project follow the rules of BKI Volume II: Rules of Hull. The results of the construction recalculation and recalculation of the stability of the new floating gate are much better than the old floating doors and have complied with BKI Volume II: Rules of Hull standards and have the ability to withstand a leak of one tank when an incident occurs.
