Abstract
Sistem proteksi tenaga listrik bertujuan untuk meminimalisir kegagalan sistem yang mengakibatkan hilangnya stabilitas sistem, kemungkinan kerusakan pelalatan dan bahaya bagi manusia. Sistem proteksi yang baik harus bekerja dengan cepat dan tepat. Untuk mendapatkan sistem proteksi yang handal, dibutuhkan koordinasi proteksi yang dapat sesegera mungkin melokalisir gangguan. Saat terjadi gangguan pada sistem tenaga listrik, peralatan proteksi yaitu rele arus lebih dan cicuit breaker akan bekerja sesuai dengan urutan koordinasinya. Rele akan merasakan gangguan kemudian memerintahkan circuit breaker yang terdekat dengan titik gangguan untuk membuka dan jika terjadi kegagalan akan ditanggulangi oleh rele dan circuit breaker backup. Hal penting yang harus diperhatikan dari koordinasi proteksi rele arus lebih adalah parameter Time Dial Setting (TDS) yang berfungsi mengatur waktu operasi rele untuk mengamankan gangguan. Umumnya nilai TDS koordinasi proteksi rele arus lebih didapatkan dari perhitungan manual untuk mendapatkan nilai minimumnya dan menggunakan metode trial and error dengan menggeser kurva rele untuk mendapatkan nilai CTI yang tepat. Untuk memudahkan dan mendapatkan hasil TDS yang tepat maka dapat digunakan suatu algorithma khusus. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dibahas tentang cara perhitungan time dial setting inverse time overcurrent relay dengan metode adaptive modified firefly algorithm pada sistem kelistrikan area RFCC PT. Pertamina RU IV Cilacap untuk mendapatkan nilai TDS yang minimum. Hasil dari tugas akhir ini adalah mendapatkan nilai TDS minimum pada beberapa jenis tipikal, rata rata waktu operasi rele ketika menjadi rele utama adalah 0,23719 detik dan rata rata perhitungan akan konvergen pada iterasi ke 15,92.

The electric power protection system aims to minimize system failures that result in loss of system stability, possible malfunctions and dangers to humans. A good protection system should work quickly and precisely. To get a reliable protection system, it is necessary to coordinate protection that can immediately localize disturbances. When a disturbance happens in the electric power system, the protection equipment, overcurrent relay and circuit breakers, will work according to the coordination order. Relay will sense the disturbance, then instruct the circuit breaker closest to the fault point to open. In case of failure, it will be addressed by the relay and circuit breaker backup. The important thing that must be considered about the coordination of overcurrent relay protection is the Time Dial Setting (TDS) parameter, which functions to set the relay operation time to secure interference. Generally, the TDS value of overcurrent relay protection coordination is obtained from manual calculations to get the minimum value and uses the trial-and-error method by shifting the relay curve to get the right CTI value. To facilitate and get the right TDS results, a special algorithm can be used. In this final project, we will discuss how to calculate the time dial setting inverse time overcurrent relay with the adaptive modified firefly algorithm method on electrical system in the area of RFCC PT Pertamina RU IV Cilacap to get a minimum TDS value. The results of this final project is to get the minimum value of TDS on several typical, average operating time of the relay when it became primary relay is 0.23719 seconds, and the average calculation would be convergen at number of iteration 15.92.
