Abstract

Maintenance of reliability and continuity in the power system is important. In power systems, transient stability analysis plays an important role in maintaining operational safety. When a disturbance occurs, the safety system will work to secure and protect the electrical system. If there is a disturbance, the system has the potential to become abnormal which can cause the generator to lose synchronization. Therefore, the focus of this final project is the analysis of transient stability in Kalimantan's electrical system based on RUPTL 2023 – 2026. As well as to show a comparison of the focus of the final project above, several simulations will be tried, such as by simulating generator outages and disconnection of transmission lines. interconnection. This analysis was carried out to identify whether the Kalimantan electrical system has good or bad transient stability. It is assumed that the power supplied by the main synchronous generator and the power flow in the transmission network remains constant.
