Abstract

Minyak atsiri atau essential oil merupakan senyawa esktrak yang diambil dari bagian tanaman melalui proses penyulingan atau ekstraksi yang dimana digunakan untuk praktik kesehatan alami, aromaterapi dan lain sebagainya. Salah satu contoh minyak atrisi ialah minyak nilam. Indonesia merupakan pemasok minyak nilam terbesar dunia dengan kontribusi 90%. Kandungan Patchoulli Alcohol (PA) yang terkandung dalam minyak nilam menjadi primadona di pasaran eropa. Peningkatan konsumsi atau kebutuhan minyak nilam perlu diimbangi dengan ketersediaan bahan baku dalam negeri, yaitu berupa daun nilam. Oleh karena itu, peluang untuk memasuki pasar minyak atsiri di dunia terbuka lebar. Pabrik minyak nilam ini direncanakan mulai dibangun pada tahun 2023 di Kabupaten Bombana, Sulawesi Tenggara dan direncanakan beroperasi pada tahun 2025. Modal diperoleh dengan perbandingan 40% modal sendiri dan 60% modal pinjaman. Berdasarkan studi evaluasi ekonomi pabrik ini, disimpulkan bahwa didapatkan penaksiran modal (CAPEX) sebesar Rp410.353.905.489; biaya operasional (OPEX) sebesar Rp169.220.320.522. Berdasarkan analisa ekonomi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pabrik minyak nilam kapasitas 220 ton/tahun layak secara ekonomi. Dari analisa perhitungan ekonomi untuk mendirikan pabrik didapat hasil-hasil sebagai berikut; total modal investasi sebesar Rp607.974.325.275 per tahun; dan hasil penjualan pertahun sebesar Rp319.055.415.539 per tahun. Dengan estimasi umur pabrik dan waktu pengembalian pinjaman selama 10 tahun, didapatkan Internal rate of return (IRR) sebesar 18,75 %; Payout time (POT) selama 6 tahun 5 bulan; Break event point (BEP) sebesar 38,9%. Adapun penanganan dampak lingkungan pabrik dilakukan dengan cara penataan, pemeliharaan, pengawasan dan pengendalian terhadap limbah yang dihasilkan.

Essential oils are extracted compounds taken from plant parts through a distillation or extraction process which are used for natural health practices, aromatherapy and so on. One example of attrition oil is patchouli oil. Indonesia is the world's largest patchouli oil supplier with a contribution of 90%. The content of Patchoulli Alcohol (PA) contained in patchouli oil is a prima donna in the European market. The increase in consumption or demand for patchouli oil needs to be balanced with the availability of domestic raw materials, namely patchouli leaves. Therefore, the opportunity to enter the world's essential oil market is wide open. The patchouli oil factory is planned to begin construction in 2023 in Bombana Regency, Southeast Sulawesi and is planned to operate in 2025. Capital is obtained with a ratio of 40% own capital and 60% loan capital. Based on the economic evaluation study of this factory, it was concluded that the estimated capital (CAPEX) was Rp410.353.905.489; operational costs (OPEX) of Rp169.220.320.522. Based on economic analysis, it can be concluded that a patchouli oil factory with a capacity of 220 tons/year economically viable. From the analysis of economic calculations to set up a factory, the following results are obtained; total investment capital of Rp607.974.325.275 per year; and annual sales results of Rp319.055.415.539 per year. With an estimated factory age and loan repayment period of 10 years, an internal rate of return (IRR) of 18.75% is obtained; Payout time (POT) for 6 years 5 months; Break event point (BEP) of 38,9%. The handling of environmental impacts of the factory is carried out by structuring, maintaining, monitoring and controlling the waste produced.
