Abstract

Latar Belakang: Perusahaan manufaktur memiliki peranan penting dalam roda industri di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik, terdapat 29.127 industri manufaktur skala menengah dan besar. Akan tetapi, proses produksi yang dilakukan menghasilkan limbah dan emisi yang memberi dampak negatif kepada lingkungan sehingga perusahaan dituntut untuk mulai memikirkan langkah-langkah dalam mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Salah satu alternatif yang dilakukan perusahaan untuk mengurangi hal tersebut yaitu dengan menerapkan inovasi digital pada proses bisnis mereka.
Permasalahan: Sayangnya, inovasi digital yang diterapkan masih terdapat kekurangan, seperti apakah kinerja inovasi digital telah memenuhi standar kinerja terhadap lingkungan yang telah ada dan ditetapkan sebelumnya.
Tujuan: Dengan demikian, dilakukannya eksplorasi dan analisis mengenai inovasi digital pada perusahaan manufaktur yang memberi dampak terhadap lingkungan menggunakan studi kasus PT XYZ. Selain itu, dilakukannya pemetaan terhadap inovasi digital yang telah diterapkan PT XYZ untuk mengetahui apakah pemanfaatan inovasi tersebut telah memenuhi indikator kinerja kehijauan yang dijadikan pembanding.
Metode: Objek penelitian dalam tugas akhir ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur komponen otomotif PT XYZ yang berlokasi di Karawang, Jawa Barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara kepada narasumber, yaitu kepada section head bagian Safety, department head bagian Carbon Neutral, serta Staf IT PT XYZ. Lalu, pemetaan proses bisnis as-is PT XYZ dilakukan menggunakan Green SCOR. Dari pemetaan tersebut, proses bisnis akan dianalisis untuk mengetahui inovasi digital yang ada pada prosesnya. Inovasi diukur menggunakan Green Performance Indicator yang dibandingkan dengan pengukuran kinerja yang telah dilakukan perusahaan. Hasil eksplorasi dan analisis dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan dan kajian bagi PT XYZ terkait untuk meningkatkan pemanfaatan inovasi digitalnya dalam hal keberlangsungan lingkungan.
Hasil: Proses bisnis yang dilakukan PT XYZ, yaitu produksi komponen, menggunakan energi yang menjadi dampak terbanyak di prosesnya. PT XYZ mengembangkan inovasi digital pada proses produksinya, salah satunya adalah sistem pencatatan otomatis. Sistem pencatatan otomatis dievaluasi menggunakan green performance indicator dari rujukan yang telah dikumpulkan peneliti. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi, didapatkan hasil bahwa terdapat indikator yang sudah memenuhi efisiensi energi yang digunakan inovasi. Akan tetapi, terdapat indikator yang gagal, yaitu storage energy sebesar 200 Gb/watt dari batas sebesar 111,11 Gb/watt, serta indikator yang tidak dapat dibandingkan karena tidak terdapat data pembanding pada process time, UNetwork, dan performance efficiency. Penelitian ini dapat memberi kontribusi praktis terhadap pengukuran kinerja sistem pencatatan otomatis PT XYZ. Penelitian ini juga memberi kontribusi pada penelitian selanjutnya dalam mengukur kinerja dengan green performance indicator.

Background: Manufacturing companies have an important role in the wheel of industry in Indonesia. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, there are 29,127 medium and large scale manufacturing industries. However, the production process that is carried out produces waste and emissions that have a negative impact on the environment so that companies are required to start thinking about steps to reduce negative impacts on the environment. One alternative that companies do to reduce this is by implementing digital innovation in their business processes.
Problems: Unfortunately, the digital innovations that are applied still have deficiencies, such as whether the performance of digital innovations meets pre-existing and previously set environmental performance standards.
Purpose: Thus, to explore and analyze digital innovation in manufacturing companies that have an impact on the environment using the case study of PT XYZ. In addition, a mapping of digital innovations that have been implemented by PT XYZ was carried out to find out whether the utilization of these innovations met the green performance indicators used as comparisons.
Method: The object of research in this final project is the automotive component manufacturing company PT XYZ located in Karawang, West Java. Data collection was carried out by conducting interviews with informants, namely the section head of the Safety section, the department head of the Carbon Neutral section, as well as PT XYZ's IT staff. Then, PT XYZ's as-is business process mapping was carried out using Green SCOR. From this mapping, business processes will be analyzed to find out the digital innovations that exist in the process. Innovation is measured using the Green Performance Indicator which is compared with performance measurements that have been made by the company. The results of the exploration and analysis can be used as a consideration and study for PT XYZ related to increasing the utilization of its digital innovations in terms of environmental sustainability.
Result: PT XYZ's business processes, namely component production, use energy which is the most impactful in the process. PT XYZ develops digital innovations in its production process, one of which is an automatic recording system. The automatic recording system is evaluated using green performance indicators from references that have been collected by researchers. After conducting an evaluation, it was found that there were indicators that met the energy efficiency used by the innovation. However, there are indicators that fail, namely energy storage of 200 Gb/watt from the limit of 111.11 Gb/watt, and indicators that cannot be compared because there is no comparative data on process time, UNetwork, and performance efficiency. This research can make a practical contribution to measuring the performance of PT XYZ's automatic recording system. This research also contributes to further research in measuring performance with green performance indicators.
