Abstract

Indonesia is the one of most populous countries in the world and has a very high seismic activity. The high seismic activity happens because Indonesia's geographical condition. Indonesia is surrounded by the Pacific Ring of Fire, it is above three continental plate collisions, namely Indo-Australia from the south, Eurasia from the north, and the Pacific from the east. Therefore, the earthquake-resistant buildings are needed to overcome this problem. The use of Eccentrically Braced Frame (EBF) as the structure system is one of the solutions for building to resist the earthquake. Eccentrically Braced Frame has very good elastic stiffness, ductility, and ability to absorb the energy from earthquake. EBF has a hybrid system which is the link as the component that experienced yielding, while the other components are anticipated to maintain their elasticity. This building also uses a composite structure, where the composite structure has several advantages compared to non-composite structures. Composite structures can reduce construction costs because it can be assumed as cooperation between steel and concrete in carrying the load so it can produce more economical steel profile. In addition, composite structures also have more rigidity and strength than non-composite structures. This final project modified reinforced concrete structure into steel-concrete composite structure. The building that used for the modification is DoubleTree by Hilton Bintaro Hotel which consists of 17 floors and 2 basements. Inverted-V Braced frame type is used as the modification of this hotel structure. All the structural design is planned based on SNI 1729-2020, AISC 341-10, SNI 1726-2019, SNI 1727-2020, and SNI 2847-2019 structural safety requirements. Modification of this structure includes secondary structure design, structural modeling, primary structure design, connection design, and substructure design. From the design and calculations performed, it can be concluded that the modified building can be used as a design.

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan penduduk terbanyak di dunia dan memiliki tingkat aktivitas gempa yang sangat tinggi. Tingginya aktivitas gempa terjadi karena kondisi geografi Indonesia. Indonesia dikelilingi oleh cincin api Pasifik, yang terletak pada tiga perteman lempeng, yaitu lempeng Indo-Australia dari selatan, Eurasia dari utara, dan Pasifik dari timur. Maka dari itu, bangunan tahan gempa dibutuhkan untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Penggunaan Sistem Rangka Bresing Eksentris (SRBE) sebagai sistem struktur adalah salah satu cara untuk menahan gempa pada bangunan. Sistem Rangka Bresing Eksentris memiliki elastisitas, daktilitas, dan kemampuan penyerapan energi gempa yang sangat baik. SRBE mempunyai sistem hibrida yang dimana link sebagai komponen yang mengalami leleh, sedangkan komponen lain mengantisipasi untuk menahan elastisitasnya. Bangunan ini juga menggunakan struktur komposit, yang dimana struktur komposit mempunyai beberapa keuntungan dibandingkan dengan struktur non-komposit. Struktur komposit dapat mengurangi biaya pembangunan karena diasumsikan sebagai kerja sama antara baja dan beton dalam memikul beban sehingga dapat membuat profil baja yang lebih ekonomis. Selain itu, struktur komposit mempunyai kekakuan dan kekuatan yang lebih daripada struktur non-komposit Tugas Akhir ini memodifikasi bangunan struktur beton menjadi struktur komposit baja-beton. Bangunan yang akan digunakan dalam perencanaan modifikasi adalah Hotel DoubleeTree by Hilton Bintaro yang terdiri dari 17 lantai dan 2 basement. Rangka Inverted-V digunakan dalam perencanaan modifikasi struktur hotel ini. Segala desain struktur direncanakan berdasarkan SNI 1729-2020, AISC 341-10, SNI 1726-2019, SNI 1727-2020, SNI 2847-2019 sebagai syarat keamanan pembangunan struktur. Modifikasi struktur ini meliputi perencanaan struktur sekunder, pemodelan struktur, perencanaan struktur primer, perencanaan sambungan, dan perencanaan struktur bawah. Dari perencanaan dan perhitungan yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bangunan hasil modifikasi dapat digunakan sebagai perencanaan.
