Abstract

Penggunaan urea terus mengalami peningkatan di tiap tahunnya. Data statistik pada tahun 2018 menunjukkan kenaikan konsumsi urea adalah sebesar 12,93%. Adanya peningkatan produksi urea juga meningkatkan dampak negatif pabrik urea yaitu menyebarnya emisi debu urea ke lingkungan sekitar yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas unit priliing di pabrik urea tersebut. Sehingga diperlukan suatu proses efisiensi dan optimasi dalam segi metode menggunakan metode mitsui toatsu recycle dan efisiensi penggunaan cyclone pada unit prilling sebagai upaya meningkatkan produktifitas produksi urea dan pengurangan emisi debu urea di masyarakat. Proses pembentukan urea menggunakan metode mitsui toatsu recycle ini memanfaatkan hasil karbamat yang tidak terdekomposisi dengan baik untuk dijadikan umpan kembali dan direaksikan kembali ke reaktor dengan menggunakan absorber. Hal ini mampu mengurangi waste NH3 yang akan terbuang ke lingkungan dan menghasilkan kemurniaan tinggi sebesar 99,8%. Untuk menunjang dampak yang lain, maka efisiensi dan optimasi cyclone juga dilakukan dengan menggunakan konfigurasi 2D2D dan didapatkan hasil efisiensi cyclone sebesar 89% dengan debu yang terbuang sebesar 7,26 kg/h dan konsentrasi debu urea nya sebesar 7,4537 mg/Nm3. Berdasarkan analisis ekonomi yang dilakukan dengan adanya pabrik urea berbasis mitsui toatsu recycle process didapatkan nilai NPV sebesar IDR 685.657.155.46,97 dan nilai IRR sebesar 14,94% yang lebih tinggi dari suku bunga bank yaitu 10% per tahun dengan pengembalian modalnya/POT selama 5,11 tahun.

The use of urea continues to increase every year. Statistical data for 2018 showed an increase in urea consumption of 12.93%. The increase in urea production also increases the negative impact of the urea plant, namely the spread of urea dust emissions into the surrounding environment caused by the prilling unit activity at the urea plant. So we need a process of efficiency and optimization in terms of methods using the mitsui toatsu recycling method and the efficiency of using cyclones in prilling units as an effort to increase the productivity of urea production and reduce emissions of urea dust in the community. The process of forming urea using the mitsui toatsu method utilizes carbamate products that are not well decomposed to be used as feed back and reacted back to the reactor using an absorber. This is able to reduce NH3 waste that will be wasted into the environment and produce a high purity of 99.8%. To support other impacts, the efficiency and optimization of the cyclone is also carried out using the 2D2D configuration and results in a cyclone efficiency 89% with wasted dust of 7.26 kg/hour and a concentration of urea dust of 7.4537 mg/Nm3. Based on the economic analysis carried out in the presence of a mitsui toatsu recycle process-based urea plant, the NPV value was IDR 685,657,155,416.97 and the IRR value was 14.94% which is higher than bank interest rate, which is 10% per year with a return on capital/POT for 5.11 years.
