Abstract

Perkembangan zaman mempengaruhi pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, begitu pula dalam dunia industri terutama pada industri pembelajaran berbasis elektronik atau biasa disebut Elearning. Saat ini tingkat persaingan antar individu maupun Negara sangat tinggi, kondisi seperti inilah yang menuntut adanya peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang seimbang. Dalam persaingan dunia industri e-learning saat ini semakin pesat, hal ini menyebabkan dunia industri elearning mendapat tantangan untuk berusaha bersaing satu sama lain secara kompetitif. Zedemy merupakan salah satu industri e-learning berbasis websitie yang digunakan sebagai alat bantu siswa tingkat SMP-SMA dan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk adalah memberikan saran bagi Zedemy untuk menggunakan strategi Blue Ocean sebagai alternatif untuk bersaing dalam industri e-learning, serta menciptakan nilai dan keunikan yang berbeda pada Zedemy berdasarkan strategi Blue Ocean Strategy. Proses awal penelitian ini adalah peneliti melakukan literature review dan mengidentifikasi situasi saat ini, lalu dilakukan penggalian data dengan menentukan nilainilai penting dalam industri e-learning, serta membandingkan nilai-nilai Zedemy dengan pesaingnya dalam industri e-learning menggunakan metode Business Model Canvas sehingga dapat menggambarkan strategi yang sesuai dalam persaingan industri e-learning saat ini. Dalam proses penentuan strategi, Perlu adanya analisa dalam menerapkan strategi Blue Ocean yaitu pembuatan kanvas strategi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah berupa gambaran penerapan Blue Ocean Strategy dalam bentuk gambar grafik (kanvas strategi Blue Ocean) kepada Zedemy dalam
peningkatan daya saing di era industri e-learning.

The times have influenced the rapid development of information and communication technology, as well as in the industrial world, especially in the electronic-based learning industry or commonly called E-learning. Currently the level of competition between individuals and countries is very high, conditions like this that demand an increase in the quality of human resources (HR) are balanced. In today's increasingly competitive world of the Elearning industry, this causes the E-learning industry to face challenges in trying to compete with each other competitively. Zedemy is a website-based e-learning industry that is used as a tool for middle and high school students and students in online learning. Zedemy has various unique values in an effort to increase competitiveness in the era of the e-learning industry. The process of increasing Zedemy's competitiveness in the era of the e-learning industry uses the Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) approach. This study aims to provide suggestions for Zedemy to use the Blue Ocean Strategy as an alternative to compete in the E-learning industry, as well as to create different values and uniqueness in Zedemy based on the Blue Ocean Strategy. The initial process of this research is that the researcher conducts a literature review and identifies the current situation, then extracts data by determining the important values in the e-learning industry, and compares Zedemy's values with its competitors in the e-learning industry using the Business Model Canvas method so that can describe the appropriate Strategy in today's elearning industry competition. In the process of determining the Strategy, the Strategy used by Zedemy is the Blue Ocean Strategy. There needs to be an analysis in implementing the Blue Ocean Strategy, namely the creation of a Strategy canvas, the application of a four-step framework (delete, reduce, increase, create). The result of this research is a description of the Business Model Canvas as a tool to identify the important values of Zedemy and there is a description of the nine elements of the Business Model Canvas. As well as a description of the implementation of the Blue Ocean Strategy in the form of graphic images (Blue Ocean Strategy canvas) and an explanation of the four-step framework that will be recommended to Zedemy in increasing competitiveness in the era of the e-learning industry.
