Abstract

Kecamatan Cerme, Kabupaten Gresik merupakan salah satu kecamatan yang menjadi penyumbang hasil perikanan terbesar di Kabupaten Gresik. Berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Gresik tahun 2022, terdapat 3.539,81 hektar area tambak tradisional di Kecamatan Cerme dengan hasil perikanan sebesar 5.261.610-kilogram, yang terdiri dari Ikan Bandeng, Nila, Udang, Mujair, dan sebagainya. Melalui kegiatan perikanan tersebut, dihasilkan produk samping berupa limbah padat maupun cair. Limbah cair yang dihasilkan berupa air
bekas tambak yang berwarna cokelat hingga kehijauan, serta menimbulkan aroma tidak sedap diakibatkan oleh kandungan Ammonia yang berasal dari urin, feses ikan, dan sisa penguraian komponen organik dalam air. Air limbah tersebut langsung dialirkan ke saluran drainase dan tercampur dengan air hujan tanpa diolah terlebih dahulu. Pada jangka panjang, kondisi ini dapat membahayakan lingkungan. Tingginya kadar Ammonia dalam air akan memicu terjadinya eutrofikasi.
Berdasarkan hasil uji laboratorium, didapatkan karakteristik air limbah dengan beberapa parameter yang masih melebihi baku mutu, yaitu TSS, Ammonia, dan Fosfat. Adapun teknologi pengolahan yang terpilih untuk mengolah limbah tambak ikan tradisional adalah dengan Unit Prasedimentasi dan Constructed wetland menggunakan tanaman Canna indica. Pemilihan teknologi pengolahan tersebut berdasarkan pada karakteristik air limbah, ketersediaan dana dan sumber daya manusia yang terlibat dalam pengelolaan tambak tradisional. Kedua teknologi tersebut dinilai cukup mudah untuk dioperasikan dan dapat meremove polutan dengan baik agar effluent yang dihasilkan memenuhi baku mutu.
Melalui kegiatan perencanaan, didapatkan luas lahan yang dibutuhkan untuk membangun Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah seluas 0,136 ha (hektar). Adapun rencana anggaran biaya untuk pembangunan SPAL yaitu sebesar Rp. 226.561.000, sedangkan rencana anggaran biaya pembangunan IPAL adalah sebesar Rp 1.539.929.000.

Cerme District, Gresik Regency, is the most notable contributor to fishery products in Gresik Regency. Based on the data from Badan Pusat Statistik Kabupaten Gresik 2022, there are 3,539.81 hectares of traditional pond areas in Cerme District with fishery products of 5,261,610 kilograms, consist of milkfish, tilapia, shrimp, mujair, and so on. These fishery activities produce solid and liquid waste. The resulting liquid waste is in the form of used pond water with brown to greenish color with an unpleasant odor caused by Ammonia, which produced from urine, fish feces, and the remaining organic component's decomposition in the water. The wastewater is directly discharged into the drainage channel and mixed with rainwater without being treated first. If this activity lasts for a long time, it will harm the environment. The high levels of Ammonia in the water will cause eutrophication.
The results of the laboratory tests showed that several parameters of wastewater still exceeded the quality standards, namely TSS, Ammonia, and Phosphate. Wastewater treatment technologies that will be used are Pre-sedimentation and Constructed wetland using Canna indica plants. Those technologies were chosen based on the characteristics of wastewater, funds, and human resources that are involved in traditional pond management. Both technologies are considered easy to operate and can remove pollutants so that the effluent meets the standards.
Based on the results of further studies, building a Wastewater Treatment Plant for Traditional Fishpond in Cerme, Gresik needs a 0,136 ha (hectare) area. The required investment budget of the SPAL is Rp. 226,561,000, while the required investment budget for the construction of the WWTP is Rp. 1.539.929.000.
