Abstract
Penggunaan energi fosil yang berupa bahan bakar minyak mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan di segala sektor. Alternatif yang tampaknya dapat mengatasi masalah ini adalah produksi bahan bakar lain salah satunya biogasoline. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) merupakan minyak sawit mentah yang dihasilkan melalui proses ekstraksi buah sawit dan dapat dijadikan
sumber energi yang dapat diperbaharui. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh rasio dan jenis katalis terhadap nilai oktan dan titik didih. Dalam penelitian ini, proses catalytic cracking dilakukan menggunakan pirolisis dan sumber energi menggunakan heating
mantle dengan variasi perbandingan katalis:CPO yaitu 1:125, 1:100, 1:75, dan 1:50 serta variasi jenis katalis menggunakan γ-Al2O3, H-ZSM-5, dan USY. Sampel yang telah diperoleh akan dilakukan pengujian nilai oktan menggunakan octane analyzer dan titik didih menggunakan uji distilasi. Pengujian XRD, BET dan SEM-EDX juga dilakukan untuk memperoleh hasil karakterisasi dari katalis Hasil penelitian didapatkan yield dari masing-masing katalis dimana pada katalis γ-Al2O3 pada rasio 1:125, 1:100, 1:75, dan 1:50 masing masing yaitu, 55.54%, 54.53%, 49.92%, 38.4%. Kemudian pada katalis H-ZSM-5 yield yang didapatkan yaitu 61.92%,
56.73%, 55.69%, 53.08%. Pada katalis USY didapatkan yield sebesar 62.21%, 61.79%, 60.4%, dan 60.28 %. Hasil pengujian nilai oktan pada masing masing produk didapatkan nilai optimum pada tiap katalis dimana pada katalis γ-Al2O3 didapatkan nilai optimum pada rasio 1:125 yaitu 106.4, kemudian pada katalis H-ZSM-5 didapatkan nilai oktan optimum pada rasio 1:100 yaitu sebesar 111.5. Pada katalis USY nilai oktan optimum terdapat pada rasio 1:50 sebesar 98.6.
sementara hasil pengujian titik didih didapatkan titik didih terendah pada masing masing katalis, dimana pada katalis γ-Al2O3 didapatkan titik didih terendah pada rasio 1:125 dan 1:75 sebesar 300°C, kemudian pada katalis H-ZSM-5 didapatkan titik didih terendah pada rasio 1:100 yaitu sebesar 271°C. Pada katalis USY titik didih terendah didapatkan pada rasio 1:100 sebesar 290°C. Perlunya dilakukan distillation batch agar didapatkan produk biogasoline yang optimal.

The use of fossil energy in the form of fuel oil has increased significantly in all sectors. An alternative that appears to overcome this is the production of other fuels, one of which is biogasoline. Crude Palm Oil (CPO) is crude palm oil produced through the extraction process of palm fruit and can be used as an energy source that can be maximized. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the composition and type of catalyst on octane and boiling point values. In this study, the catalytic cracking process was carried out using a distillation apparatus and an energy source using a heating mantle with variations in the catalyst:CPO ratio, namely without catalyst, 1:100, 1:75, and 1:50 as well as variations in the type of catalyst using γ-Al2O3, H-ZSM-5, and USY. The samples that have been obtained will be tested for octane values using an octane analyzer and boiling points using a distillation test. XRD, BET and SEM-EDX tests were also carried out to obtain the characterization results of each catalyst. The results of the study obtained the yield of each catalyst where the catalyst γ-Al2O3 at a ratio of 1:125, 1:100, 1:75, and 1:50 respectively, namely, 55.54%, 54.53%,49.92%, 38.4%. Then on
the H-ZSM-5 catalyst the yields obtained were 61.92%, 56.73%, 55.69%, 53.08%. The USY catalyst obtained yields of 62.21%, 61.79%, 60.4% and 60.28%. Then tested the octane value and boiling point of each product. The results of testing the octane value for each product obtained the optimum value for each catalyst where the γ-Al2O3 catalyst obtained the optimum value at a ratio of 1:125, namely 106.4, then for the H-ZSM-5 catalyst, the optimum octane
value was obtained at a ratio of 1:100, namely of 111.5. In the USY catalyst, the optimum
octane value was obtained at a ratio of 1:50 of 98.6. while the results of the boiling point test
obtained the lowest boiling point for each catalyst, where the γ-Al2O3 catalyst obtained the
lowest boiling point at a ratio of 1:125 and 1:75 at 300°C, then for the catalyst H-ZSM-5 the
lowest boiling point at a ratio of 1:100 which is equal to 271°C. The USY catalyst has the lowest
boiling point at a ratio of 1:100 at 290°C.
