Abstract
Efektivitas merupakan unsur pokok untuk mencapai suatu tujuan atau sasaran yang telah ditentukan didalam suatu kegiatan ataupun program. Sampah plastik menjadi salah satu masalah besar di Indonesia karena memiliki dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pengelolaan sampah yang baik, efektif dan benar. Setiap sektor mempunyai sampah plastik, termasuk juga sektor pendidikan. Salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang berpotensi menghasilkan sampah plastik adalah Pondok Pesantren. Pengelolaan sampah dengan ecobrick yang diselenggarakan di Asrama IV-I Ainusyams bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan sampah di lingkungan pondok pesantren. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif di mana teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa efektivitas pengelolaan sampah dengan ecobrick efektif sesuai dengan rencana, terutama pada indikator ketepatan sasaran, sosialisasi dan pencapaian tujuan. Meskipun pada indikator pemantauan program terbilang cukup efektif dan terdapat perbedaan partisipasi santri, keberhasilan dalam ketepatan sasaran, sosialisasi dan pencapaian tujuan program menunjukkan potensi program ecobrick dalam mengatasi permasalahan sampah plastik di lingkungan pondok pesantren. Pengelolaan sampah dengan prinsip 3R ini juga mampu merubah perilaku santri dalam pengelolaan sampah yang ramah lingkungan.

Effectiveness is the main element to achieve a goal or target that has been determined in an activity or program. Plastic waste is one of the big problems in Indonesia because it has a negatif impact on the environment. Therefore, good, effective and correct waste management is needed. Every sector has plastic waste, including the education sector. One of the educational institutions that has the potential to produce plastic waste is the Islamic Boarding School. Ecobrick waste management held at Dormitory IV-I Ainusyams aims to overcome waste problems in the Islamic boarding school environment. This research uses qualitative methods where the data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study can be seen that the effectiveness of waste management with ecobricks is effective according to plan, especially on indicators of target accuracy, socialization and goal achievement. Although the program monitoring indicators have not been maximized and there are differences in student participation, success in target accuracy, socialization and achievement of program objectives shows the potential of the ecobrick program in overcoming the problem of plastic waste in the Islamic boarding school environment. Waste management with the 3R principle is also able to change the behavior of students in environmentally friendly waste management.
