Abstract

Sodium nitrat (NaNO3) merupakan salah satu bahan intermediet yang digunakan dalam industry di Indonesia. Penggunaan utamanya antara lain dalam pembuatan kaca optik dan artistik, cat, pupuk, bahan peledak dan lain lain. Berdasarkan data dari Badan Pusat Statistik, nilai kebutuhan impor sodium nitrat terus menerus naik setiap tahunnya. Hal ini disebabkan karna kebutuhan konsumsi sodium nitrat yang tinggi namun belum terdapat pabrik sodium nitrat di Indonesia. Pada proses pembuatan sodium nitrat dengan proses sintesis dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai macam proses diantaranya mereaksikan asam nitrat dan sodium hidroksida. Pada proses ini akan terjadi tiga tahap yaitu proses persiapan, Tahap selanjutnya yaitu (2) proses pembentukan produk, Tahap terakhir adalah (3) taham pemurnian produk. Pabrik ini didirikan untuk memnuhi kebutuhan sodium nitrat dalam negri. Pabrik direncanakan beroperasi secara kontinu 24 jam selama 330 hari per tahun dengan kapasias produksi 59000 ton/tahun. Sumber dana investasi untuk pendirian pabrik berasal dari modal sendiri sebesar 40% dan modal pinjaman sebesar 60%, biaya investasi bunga sebesar 6% per tahun. Berdasarkan perhitungan Analisa ekonomi dieproleh Total Capital Invesment sebesar Rp. 244.182.173.084, nilai penaksiran modal (CAPEX) sebesar Rp. 207.554.847.122, dan biaya produksi (OPEX) sebesar Rp. 273.248.548.460,27. Kemudian didapatkan nilai laju pengembalian modal (IRR) sebesar 34,72%, laju inflasi sebesar Rp. 243.777.135.905 per tahun, waktu pengembalian modal (POT) sebesar 2,9 tahun dan titik impas (BEP) sebesar 23,38%. Sehingga berdasarkan Analisa ekonomi pabrik sodium nitrat ini layak untuk didirikan.

Sodium nitrate (NaNO3) is one of the intermediates used in industry in Indonesia. Its main uses include in the manufacture of optical and artistic glass, paints, fertilizers, explosives and others. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics, the value of sodium nitrate import needs continues to increase every year. This is due to the high need for sodium nitrate consumption but there is no sodium nitrate factory in Indonesia. In the process of making sodium nitrate with the synthesis process can be done with various processes including reacting nitric acid and sodium hydroxide. In this process there will be three stages, namely (1) the preparation process, The next step is (2) the product formation process, The last stage is (3) the product purification stage. This factory was established to meet the needs of sodium nitrate in the country. The factory is planned to operate continuously 24 hours for 330 days per year with a production capacity of 59,000 tons/year. Sources of investment funds for the establishment of factories come from own capital of 40% and loan capital of 60%, interest investment costs of 6% per year. Based on the calculation of economic analysis, a Total Capital Investment of Rp. 244,182,173,084, the estimated value of capital (CAPEX) is Rp. 207,554,847,122, and production costs (OPEX) of Rp. 273,248,548,460.27. Then the value of the rate of return on investment (IRR) is 34.72%, the inflation rate is Rp. 243,777,135,905 per year, payback period (POT) of 2.9 years and a break-even point (BEP) of 23.38%. So based on the economic analysis of this sodium nitrate factory it is feasible to establish.
