Abstract

Keterlambatan kemampuan motorik halus merupakan salah satu gejala yang dapat diamati dalam proses tumbuh kembang anak autis. Gangguan autisme sudah dapat diketahui sejak anak masih berusia satu hingga dua tahun dan penanganan sedini mungkin merupakan tindakan yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan perkembangan anak autis. Penanganan autisme bisa melalui kegiatan terapi dan juga melalui sekolah luar biasa serta sekolah inklusi. Ditandai dengan ketidaksinkronan pendaatan jumlah penderita autisme, menunjukkan bahwa pemerintah Indonesia masih kurang memperhatikan sistem pendidikan untuk anak-anak dengan gangguan autisme. Untuk mengimbangi kebutuhan sarana pendidikan anak autis, beberapa dokter dan tenaga ahli atau terapis menyediakan yayasan pusat terapi dengan sistem belajar tertentu. Terapi ABA merupakan jenis terapi yang banyak ditemui pada sistem pembelajaran yayasan pusat terapi di Indonesia. Dalam kegiatan terapi ABA mainan edukasi dibutuhkan sebagai alat bantu terapis saat melakukan aktivitas bersama anak autis.

Delay in fine motoric skills is one of the symptoms that can be observed in the process of growth and development of autistic children. Autistic disorders can be identified since children are one or two years old and early treatment as possible can improve the development of them. Handling autism can be through therapy activities and also through special schools or inclusive schools. ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is one of many therapy and of therapy that have been used in many therapy center as study system in Indonesia. In reality, kids with autism have special condition where they will act tantrum if something didn’t work as they want, they feel bored, and they feel the toys they are playing with is difficult to solve. This behavior may hurts them and the therapist when they do their therapy activity since they maybe throw the toys or punch the toys. This research have purpose to contribute in the development of autistic toys so they can use the toys safely
