Abstract

Material tembaga-benzentrikarboksilat (Cu-BTC) dan
kobalt-tembaga-benzentrikarboksilat (Co-Cu-BTC) telah berhasil
disintesis dengan metode solvotermal pada suhu 100 °C selama
10 jam. Sintesis ini dilakukan dengan penambahan variasi mol
Co(II) sebesar 2,5%; 5% dan 10% yang diikuti dengan
pengurangan mol Cu(II). Cu-BTC dan Co-Cu-BTC hasil sintesis
selanjutnya dikarakterisasi menggunakan XRD, FTIR, SEMEDX,
TGA dan BET. Difraktogram muncul pada sudut khas
HKUST-1 yaitu 2θ = 11,6° ; 9,5° dan 2θ = 13,4°. Penambahan
Co2+ mempengaruhi pergeseran puncak difraktogram dan
intensitas puncak. Analisa FTIR menunjukkan bahwa
penambahan Co2+ tidak mempengaruhi gugus fungsi yang ada
pada material Cu-BTC. Penambahan Co2+ mempengaruhi
keseragaman dari morfologi HKUST-1 ditunjukkan dengan
analisa SEM-EDX. Analisa TGA menunjukkan Co-Cu-BTC
memiliki stabilitas termal sebesar 354 °C. Luas permukaan yang
dimiliki oleh Cu-BTC dan Co-Cu-BTC 5% masing-masing
sebesar 1149 m2/g dan 1033 m2/g. Pada uji reaksi esterifikasi
menunjukkan bahwa Co-Cu-BTC 2,5% mampu meningkatkan
konversi FFA yaitu sebesar 44,17%.

Copper-benzenetricarboxylic (Cu-BTC) and Cobaltcopper-
benzenetricarboxylic (Co-Cu-BTC) have been
successfully synthesized. The synthesis is carried out with the
addition of variations mole Co (II) of 2.5%; 5% and 10%,
followed by reduction of the mole Cu (II). This material is
synthesized using solvothermal methods on 100 °C for 10 hours.
Cu-BTC and Co-Cu-BTC subsequently were characterized using
XRD, FTIR, SEM-EDX TGA and adsorption-desorption N2.
Diffractogram apper on 2θ = 11,6°; 9,5° and 2θ = 13,4°. The
addition of Co2+ affect diffractogram peak shift and peak
intensity. FTIR analysis showed that the addition of Co2+ doesn’t
affect the functional groups in Cu-BTC. The addition of Co2+
affect the uniformity of the morphology of HKUST-1 was shown
by SEM-EDX analysis. TGA analysis showed that Co-Cu-BTC
has thermal stability at 354 °C. In esterification reaction showed
that Co-Cu-BTC 2,5% capable to convert FFA in amount of
44,17%
