Abstract

PT. Pusri Palembang adalah perusahaan yang didirikan sebagai produsen pupuk nasional yang juga bertanggung jawab dalam melaksanakan distribusi dan pemasaran pupuk bersubsisdi untuk mendukung program pangan nasional. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan produksi PT. Pusri Palembang melakukan penambahan pabrik baru. Maka untuk menjaga kontinuitas sistem kelistrikan yang ada diperlukan penambahan 1 unit pembangkit baru, pada mulanya ada 4 unit pembangkit yang beroperasi menjadi 5 unit pembangkit. Akibat penambahan pabrik baru ini, kestabilan transien pada plant belum dianalisis secara mendalam, sehingga perlu dilakukan studi stabilitas transien untuk mengetahui keandalan sistem saat terjadi gangguan transien. Pada tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan analisis kestabilan transien akibat generator lepas, motor starting, dan hubung singkat kemudian akan dilakukan perancanggan mekanisme load shedding agar sistem mampu mempertahankan kestabilannya dan kontinuitas aliran daya tetap terjaga. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa saat salah satu generator outage pada case A dan saat generator P1B atau STG outage pada case B memerlukan mekanisme load shedding. Mekanisme load shedding yang dilakukan menggunakan standar frekuensi. Saat kasus hubung singkat pada bus SG3301, SG-SB, dan STG_1 memerlukan mekanisme load shedding. Selain itu, kasus motor starting masih diperbolehkan saat 5 generator ON karena tidak memberikan efek yang singnifikan pada respon tegangan, frekuensi, dan sudut rotor pada sistem.

PT. Pusri Palembang was initiated as the pioneer of urea fertilizer produce in Indonesia and also responsible in supporting national provision program. An increase of demand cause PT. Pusri Palembang to instal a new plant. Hence, in order to maintain the continuity of esbtablished electrical systems, it is necessary to instal 1 new generator units, there are 4 operated generator units and after the installation there will be 5 generator units. In the other hand because of the new plant installation, studies of the transient stability have not been deeply analyzed, therby studying transient stability is necessary to determine the reliability of the system during transient disturbance. In this final project, the analyses focused on the transient stability as a result of generator outage, motor starting, and short circuit. Then, there will also be a load shedding design. Simulation result show that one of the generator outage in case A dan generator P1B or STG outage in case B need load shedding mechanism. Load shedding mechanism are based on frequency standart. When short cicuit occurred on bus SG-3301, SG-SB, dan STG_1 need mechanism load shedding as well. Besides, motor starting cases are still allowed when 5 generator are ON, because it will not give significant effect on voltage respon, frequency, and, rotor angel at the system.
