Abstract

==================================================================================================== Building Amaris Hotel Madiun is a hotel building with 8 floors built in Madiun area which is a medium earthquake risk category. The building has been modified back by moving the location of the building to the Surabaya area with high seismic zones.
Modifications were made such as by increasing the number of floors to 10 floors and use the flat slab system and shearwall as reinforcement in accepting earthquake loads in high seismic regions. The building will be modeled three-dimensional burdened with gravity and seismic loads. The building must meet the requirements of the base shear, and must meet the requirements of drift to meet the safety aspects of the building.
The results of the design obtained slab thickness of 200 mm, 150 mm thick drop panel with a width of 300 cm either towards the x-axis and towards the y-axis, and with the use of a column with dimensions of 700 mm x 700 mm. Shear wall is designed with a thickness of 400 mm by using a component boundary. From the dynamic analysis showed that the structure of the building is eligible drift with a period (T) of 0.908 seconds.
