Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekspor dan impor barang di Indonesia semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Begitu juga dengan arus bongkar dan muat barang antar pulau yang semakin meningkat juga dari tahun ke tahun. Dengan banyaknya jumlah terminal petikemas di Indonesia yang mempunyai fasilitas berbeda-beda mengakibatkan terjadinya persaingan antar terminal petikemas. Dengan adanya penelitian sebelumnya tentang daya saing terminal petikemas, hal tersebut memudahkan dalam menentukan kriteria daya saing terminal petikemas dan metode untuk menentukan formulasi indeks daya saing dalam penelitian ini. Terdapat 5 kriteria yang digunakan dalam penentuan indeks daya saing terminal petikemas di Indonesia, yaitu kapasitas lapangan penumpukan, kapasitas dermaga, akses darat, PDRB, dan kedalaman alur. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengolah data dari tiap kriteria adalah Principal Component Analysis (PCA) dengan bantuan software SPSS. Metode PCA menghasilkan nilai koefisien dari setiap kriteria yang menjadi formula untuk mencari indeks daya saing terminal petikemas. Indeks dengan nilai tertinggi diperoleh Terminal Petikemas JICT dengan nilai 14,44 dan diikuti oleh terminal petikemas lainnya. ================================================================================================== Growth in exports and imports of goods in Indonesia is increasing from year to year. So also with the current loading and unloading of goods between islands is increasing also from year to year. With the large number of container terminal facilities in Indonesia that have different results in competition among container terminal. Given previous research on the competitiveness of container terminals, it facilitates in determining the competitiveness of container terminals criteria and methods for determining the formulation of competitiveness index in this study. There are five criteria used in determining the competitiveness index container terminal in Indonesia, namely the stacking yard capacity, berth capacity, land access, GRDP, and the depth of the channel. The method used to process the data of each criterion is Principal Component Analysis (PCA) with the help of SPSS software. PCA method to produce the coefficient of each of the criteria is a formula to find the container terminal competitiveness index. Index with the highest value obtained JICT Container Terminal with a value of 14.44 and was followed by another container terminal.
