Abstract

Pada penelitian ini telah dilakukan studi gangguan ion Hg(II) dalam analisa besi(III) dengan pengompleks 1,10- Fenantrolin pada pH 3,5 secara spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Kompleks Fe(III)-Fenantrolin menyerap sinar pada serapan panjang gelombang maksimum 320 nm dengan nilai absorbansi 0,296. Sedangkan, kompleks Hg(II)-Fenantrolin menyerap sinar pada panjang gelombang maksimum 317 nm dengan nilai absorbansi 0,274. Pada penentuan kurva kalibrasi diperoleh persamaan garis linier yaitu y = 0,08488x + 0,02548 dengan nilai koefisien korelasi (r) adalah 0,998 dan koefisien determinasi (r2) adalah 0,996. Hasil analisa gangguan ion Hg2+ menunjukkan bahwa ion Hg2+ mulai mengganggu analisa kompleks Fe(III)- Fenantrolin pada konsentrasi 0,3 ppm dengan % recovery sebesar 67,8% dan nilai RSD 41,72 ppt serta CV 4,1 %. ================================================================================================================== This research has been conducted interference study of Hg(II) on iron(III) determination with 1,10-phenanthroline at pH 3,5 by Spectrophotometry UV-Vis method. Fe(III)- Phenanthroline complex absorb light at the wavelenght of absorption maximum at 320 nm with absorbance value is 0,296. Meanwhile, the Hg(II)-Phenanthroline complex absorb light at a wavelength 317 nm with a maximum absorbance value is 0,274. In determining the calibration curve obtained linier equation is y = 0,08488x + 0,02548 with correlation coefficient (r) is 0,998 and determination coefficient (r2) is 0,996. Ion interference of Hg2+ analysis results indicated that ion Hg2+ began to interfere with the Fe(III)-Phenanthroline complex at concentrations of 0,3 ppm to %recovery is 67,8% and the value of RSD 41,72 ppt and CV 4,1%.
