Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan tingkat endemis satwa tertinggi di
dunia. Namun, masih banyak anak-anak yang tidak banyak mengetahui tentang
keanekaragaman hewan endemik Indonesia. Maka dari itu, diperlukan
pembentukan karakter peduli satwa endemik Indonesia dan habitatnya sejak dini.
Perancangan boardgame ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan satwa
endemik di Indonesia berdasarkan habitatnya di Indonesia. Konsep perancangan
boardgame ini didasari oleh hasil studi literatur, deepth interview oleh para ahli
dan pihak-pihak yang terkait dan observasi untuk mengetahui karakteristik
audience. Metode-metode ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan kriteria desain yang
sesuai dengan kebutuhan audience.
Dengan media pembelajaran berupa boardgame diharapkan anak dapat
mengetahui, memahami serta peduli terhadap kelangsungan hidup satwa endemik
Indonesia yang terancam punah. Selain itu, dengan metode pembelajaran melalui
boardgame dapat meningkatkan saraf motorik serta nilai sosial terhadap sesama.

Indonesia is the country with the highest levels of endemic species in the
world. However, there are still many children who don’t know much about the
diversity of animals endemic to Indonesia. Therefore, it takes care of character
formation Indonesian endemic wildlife and habitats from the outset.
The design of the game board is intended to introduce a species endemic in
Indonesia based on their habitat in Indonesia. Boardgame design concept is based
on the results of a literature study, deepth interviews by experts and the parties
concerned and observation to determine the characteristics of the audience. These
methods aim to obtain design criteria in accordance with the needs of the audience.
By learning media in the form of children's boardgames are expected to be
able to know, understand and care about the survival of the species endemic to
Indonesia endangered. In addition, the method of learning through gaming board
can increase the motor nerves and the social value of neighbor.
