Abstract

Turbin merupakan bagian utama di PLTA PT. PJB UP Brantas. Turbin yang bekerja memerlukan sistem pelumasan yang baik sehingga tidak akan terjadi rubbing (pergesekan benda berputar dan benda diam) pada bearing. Sistem pelumasan di PLTA PT. PJB UP Brantas terbagi menjadi 3, yaitu: Lubricating Oil, Pressure Oil dan Grease Oil. Lubricating Oil adalah oli untuk pelumasan bagian – bagian unit pembangkit yang bergerak, seperti: Upper bearing, Trust bearing, Lower bearing dan Turbine bearing. Pada Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari perhitungan ulang instalasi dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk sistem lubrikasi. Perlu dipelajari parameter apa saja yang berkaitan dengan pemilihan pompa, guna menghasilkan kondisi optimal dari kinerja pompa, merupakan inti permasalahan tugas akhir ini. Pada hasil perhitungan diperoleh Head efektif instalasi pompa sebesar dan daya motor sebesar 1,408 Kw. Dengan hasil perhitungan tersebut, maka dipilih Gear Pump tipe Nitto Sine Curve Gear Pump dengan putaran 1430 rpm dan daya sebesar 1,5 kW ================================================================================================================== Turbine is a major part in hydropower PT. PJB UP Brantas. Therefore, the turbine work requires good lubrication system so it will not caused rubbing (friction spinning objects and stationary objects) on the bearing. Lubrication system in hydropower PT. PJB UP Brantas divided into three, namely: Lubricating Oil, Oil Pressure and Grease Oil. Lubricating Oil is the oil for lubrication - generating units moving parts, such as: Upper bearing, bearing Trust, Lower bearings and Turbine bearing. In this final project aims to study the re-calculation of installation and the selection of appropriate pumps for lubrication systems. Any parameters need to be studied with regard to the selection of the pump, in order to produce optimal conditions of performance of the pump, is the core problem of this thesis. At the calculations Head effective of the installation is 68.34 m and a pump motor power is 1,408 Kw. With the results of these calculations, Nitto Gear Pump Sine Curve with a rotation 1430 rpm and a power of 1.5 kW is choosen.
