Abstract

Saat ini ITS telah menggunakan perangkat Cisco pada
infrastruktur jaringan komputernya. Perangkat Cisco yang digunakan
menerapkan protokol routing Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing
Protocol (EIGRP). Kedepan, ITS berencana akan mengganti perangkat
jaringan eksisting dengan perangkat Huawei dimana protokol routing
yang digunakan adalah Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). Permasalahan
yang muncul adalah pada proses migrasi dilakukan bertahap sehingga
perangkat eksisting dan perangkat baru perlu dilakukan integrasi dimana
pada kedua perangkat memiliki protokol routing yang berbeda. Protokol
routing EIGRP hanya dimiliki oleh perangkat Cisco sedangkan
perangkat Huawei tidak memiliki protocol EIGRP tersebut.
Pada penelitian ini dilakukan metode redistribute untuk
mengintegrasikan perangkat Cisco dan perangkat Huawei menjadi satu
jaringan teritegrasi. Redistribute adalah cara untuk meredistribusikan
kembali tabel routing yang dibentuk oleh suatu protokol routing untuk
diteruskan ke protokol routing lain.
Setelah dilakukan pengujian performansi jaringan didapatkan
nilai QoS sebagai berikut. Pada jaringan eksisting rata-rata jitter = 0.499
ms, throughput pada bandwidth 12.5 Mbps = 12.1795 Mbps dan ratarata
packet loss = 0.38%. Sedangkan pada jaringan baru rata-rata jitter
= 0.71 ms, throughput pada bandwidth 12.5 Mbps = 12.3195 Mbps dan
rata-rata packet loss = 0.19%

Currently ITS has been using Cisco devices on the network
infrastructure computer. Cisco devices that are used to apply routing
protocol Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP). In the
future, ITS plans to replace the existing network with Huawei devices
which are used routing protocol is Open Shortest Path First (OSPF). The
problem that arises is the migration process is done gradually so that
existing devices and new device needs to be done where the integration
of the two devices have different routing protocols. EIGRP routing
protocol is only owned by Cisco devices while Huawei device does not
have the EIGRP protocol.
In this research, redistribute is the method for integrating the
Cisco and Huawei devices into one network. Redistribute is a way to
redistribute return routing table formed by a routing protocol to be
forwarded to another routing protocol.
After testing network performance QoS values obtained as
follows. On average existing network jitter = 0499 ms, the throughput of
bandwidth 12.5 Mbps = 12.1795 Mbps and average packet loss =
0:38%. While on average the new network jitter = 0.71 ms, the
throughput of bandwidth 12.5 Mbps = 12.3195 Mbps and average
packet loss = 0.19%
