Abstract

Gelombang tinggi yang terjadi di laut dapat menyebabkan kerusakan di pantai. Maka dari itu pendekatan klimatologi perlu dilakukan dengan menganalisa data angin yang pernah terjadi. Analisa dilakukan di daerah Pantai Kenjeran, Surabaya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan wind rose, fetch, tinggi gelombang momen nol, distribusi normal, distribusi log normal, distribusi gumbel, distribusi weibull dan kala ulang dengan menggunakan data angin selama 7 tahun, dari tahun 2000-2006. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berupa wind rose, fetch, tinggi gelombang signifikan, distribusi normal, distribusi log normal, distribusi weibull, distribusi gumbel, dan kala ulang. Perhitungan ditribusi digunakan untuk memperoleh kala ulang. Kala ulang untuk mengetahui tinggi gelombang setiap 5 tahun, 10 tahun, dan 15 tahun. Distribusi yang sesuai untuk data angin tahun 2000 sampai 2006 di Pantai Kenjeran, Surabaya adalah distribusi log normal dengan kala ulang gelombang 0,36 untuk 5 tahun; 0,40 untuk 10 tahun; dan 0,42 untuk 15 tahun.

High waves that occur in the ocean can cause damage on the coast. Therefore climatology approach needs to be done by analyzing wind data that never happened. The analysis carried out in the area Kenjeran Beach, Surabaya. This research was conducted to get the wind rose, fetch, zero moment wave height, normal distribution, log normal distribution, gumbel distribution, weibull distribution and when recharged using wind data for 7 years, from 2000-2006. The results obtained from this study in the form of wind rose, fetch, zero moment wave height, normal distribution, log normal distribution, weibull distribution, gumbel distribution, and return period. The calculation of the distribution is used to obtain the return period. Return period to determine the height of the waves every 5 years, 10 years, and 15 years. The appropriate distribution for the 2000 to 2006 wind data at Kenjeran Beach, Surabaya is a log normal distribution with a return period of 0,36 for 5 years; 0,40 for 10 years; and 0,42 for 15 years.
