Abstract

Safety merupakan keutamaan dalam menjalankan kegiatan produksi pada industri. Keamanan dalam pabrik perlu diperhatikan terutama terhadap node berbahaya seperti burner. Pada penelitian tugas akhir ini dilakukan analisis untuk mengetahui peluang risiko bahaya yang bisa terjadi pada superheat burner. Besarnya risiko bahaya harus diimbangi dengan adanya sistem pengamanan (SIS). Sehingga sistem superheat burner dianalisis bahayanya dengan metode HAZOP serta dihitung tingkat keamanan SIL melalui metode FTA. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada tugas akhir ini, superheat burner memiliki risiko bahaya tinggi (high risk) pada komponen TT-1005 dan PT-1018. Tingkat keamanan superheat burner tergolong SIL 1 dengan PFD 4.38x10-2, sehingga dilakukan desain ulang pada SIS untuk mencapai SIL 2. Didapatkan PFD sistem sebesar 0.0099 dengan kategori SIL 2 tercapai dengan menambah 2 ESDV pada line fuel gas dan purge check gas serta menambah satu pressure switch pada masing-masing fungsi pressure switch. (PSHH, PSL, PSLL). ================================================================================================================== Safety is a virtue in carrying out production activities in an industry. Safety for plant system need to be considered, especially against malicious node such as the burner. In this research hazard is analyzed to determine risks that could happen to superheat burner. Risk of harm must be followed by the safety instrumented system (SIS). So the system of superheat burner analyzed by HAZOP and the SIL calculated with the FTA method. Based on this final project, superheat burner has a high risk category for instruments TT-1005 and PT-1018. Safety integrity level of superheat burner classified SIL 1 within PFD 4.38x10-2, so it needs to redesign the SIS upgrade to SIL 2. PFD system reach 0.0099 for SIL 2 by install 2 ESDV on each fuel gas line and purge check gas and also install the a pressure switch on each pressure switchfunction (PSHH, PSL, PSLL).
