Abstract

Banjir adalah meluapnya aliran sungai akibat air melebihi kapasitas tampungan sungai, sehingga meluap dan menggenangi dataran atau daerah yang lebih rendah di sekitarnya. Bencana banjir sering terjadi di Kabupaten Sampang yang disebabkan dari tingginya curah hujan di daerah hulu sungai dengan topografi yang berbukit sehingga meningkatkan kecepatan aliran air ke dataran yang lebih rendah, khususnya yang terjadi di Kota Sampang mengalami banjir tiap tahun.
Daerah rawan banjir dapat diidentifikasi melalui peta kerawanan banjir dengan memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi Geografis dengan metode skoring dan pembobotan pada setiap parameter. Parameter banjir yang digunakan curah hujan, jenis tanah, ketinggian, landuse, kelas sungai, dan intensitas banjir. Pada penelitian ini juga menggunakan Citra Satelit Landsat pada tahun 2000, 2010 dan 2017 yang diolah menggunakan metode klasifikasi terbimbing.
Hasil penelitian yang di dapatkan pada pengolahan kerawanan banjir di Kabupaten Sampang dibagi menjadi 3 kelas yaitu kelas Rendah sebesar 55%, kelas Sedang sebesar 42% dan kelas Tinggi sebesar 3%. Daerah yang termasuk pada kelas tinggi terletak di daerah Kali Kemuning, Kecamatan Sampang seluas 16,117 km².

Flood is the overflow of river flow due to water exceeds the capacity of river catchment, so it overflows and floods the plains or the lower areas around it. Floods often occur in Sampang Regency caused by high rainfall in the upper river area with hilly topography, thus increasing the speed of water flow to the lower plains, especially in the city of Sampang flood every year.
Flood-prone areas can be identified through flood vulnerability maps by utilizing Geographic Information Systems with scoring and weighting methods on each parameter. Flood parameters used such as: rainfall, soil type, altitude, landuse, river class, and flood intensity. In this study also use Landsat Satellite Imagery in 2000, 2010 and 2017 which is processed using guided classification method.
The results obtained in flood prone processing in Sampang Regency is divided into 3 classes, namely Low grade 55%, Medium class of 42% and High class of 3%. The area belonging to the high class is located in the area of Kali Kemuning, Sampang District covering an area of 16.117 km ².
