Abstract

Etanol adalah jenis alkohol yang banyak dijumpai pada makanan, Dalam Islam, haram hukumnya mengkonsumsi alkohol. Indonesia memiliki 87% penduduk muslim, sehingga perlu adanya alat untuk mendeteksi alkohol didalam makanan. Pada penelitian ini, digunakan komposit Polianilin/ZnO. Polianilin (PANI) disintesis dari monomernya yaitu anilin. Serbuk PANI dicampurkan dengan serbuk Zinc Oxide (ZnO) dengan rasio massa 0%, 10%, 20%, dan 30%wt. Pencampuran dilakukan dengan metode ultrasonic lalu dikompaksi sehingga didapatkan pelet komposit PANI/ZnO. Material komposit yang telah dibuat diuji Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-Ray Dispersion Spectroscopy (XRD), Pengujian konduktivitas listrik, dan Pengujian sensitivitas gas. Hasil dari karakterisasi menggunakan SEM menunjukkan bahwa partikel ZnO tersebar merata didalam matriks PANI. Dari pengujian FTIR diketahui bahwasanya PANI yang disintesa memiliki fasa garam emeraldin. Dari pengujian XRD didapatkan komposisi dari komposit adalah benar PANI/ZnO. Efek penambahan rasio massa ZnO membuat persebaran semakin merata dan pelet semakin tipis. Didapatkan nilai konduktivitas PANI sebesar 4.07x10-4 S/cm. Nilai konduktivitas meningkat seiring dengan semakin banyaknya penambahan rasio komposisi massa ZnO. Dari hasil uji sensitivitas terbukti bahwa penambahan rasio massa ZnO berdampak pada meningkatnya nilai sensitivitas dari komposit PANI.ZnO

Etanol is an alcoholic kind where usually found on foods. In Islam, consuming alcohol is haram. Indonesia has 87% muslim population. So it needed to create a tool for detecting alcohol on foods. In this study composite Polianilin/ZnO have been used. Polyanoline (PANI) was synsthized from its monomer, anilin. PANI powder were mixed with Zinc Oxide (ZnO) with mass ratio 0%,10%wt, 20%wt, and 30%wt . For mixing we used Ultrasonic method and compacted to produce PANI/ZnO pellets. The composite material then had some. The first one is Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and then Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), and so X-Ray Dispersion Spectroscopy (XRD), Conductivity Electric Test and Gas Sensitivity Test. The results with using SEM showed ZnO particles are spreading evenly inside PANI matrix. From FTIR test is known that PANI sucessfully synthesized that has emeraldine salt phase . From the XRD test result is the composition from the composite PANI/ZnO is right. The effect of addition of ZnO mass rasio making the distribution of the particles more evenly distributed and the pellet thinner. Obtained the conductivity value of PANI is 4.07x10-4 S/cm. The value of conductivity is increasing with along with the addition of ZnO mass rasio. And from the Gas Sensitivity test, the results show that the addition of mass rasio of ZnO will increase the value of gas sensitivity from PANI/ZnO composite material.
