Abstract

Surabaya adalah kota terbesar di Provinsi Jawa Timur, karena adanya era globalisasi menyebabkan Kota Surabaya menjadi kota dengan kemajuan yang pesat di segala aspek termasuk bidang pembangunan. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh perubahan ekonomi Kota Surabaya yang semakin meningkat disertai juga dengan perkembangan kota yang menyebabkan perubahan tata guna lahan. Semakin sedikitnya lahan resapan di Kota Surabaya menimbulkan berbagai dampak, salah satunya adalah banjir. Salah satu kawasan di Surabaya yang mengalami banjir adalah kawasan Simokerto. Kawasan ini merupakan salah satu kawasan penting di Surabaya karena merupakan akses menuju Surabaya Pusat dari arah Madura.
Berdasarkan pada kondisi tersebut maka Tugas akhir terapan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa apakah kapasitas saluran bisa menampung debit banjir, kapasitas pompa Simolawang apakah cukup memadai untuk mempercepat pembuangan air menuju Saluran Simokerto, dan mencari solusi apabila kapasitas saluran tidak mampu menampung debit banjir rencana dan sistem pompa tidak dapat bekerja secara optimal
Sistem drainase yang di analisa hanya sebagian sistem yang ada di kawasan Simokerto dan berhubungan langsung dengan Pompa Simolawang dan Saluran Simokerto. Dimana yang di analisa meliputi dimensi saluran, kapasitas saluran, dan kapasitas pompa. Tahapan perhitungan meliputi perhitungan curah hujan rencana menggunakan metode Log Pearson tipe III, perhitungan intensitas hujan menggunakan metode Mononobe, perhitungan debit banjir rencana menggunakan rumus rasional kemudian dibandingkan dengan perhitungan kapasitas saluran yang ada sekarang serta perhitungan hidrograf banjir pada inflow dan outflow pompa.
Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi pada sistem drainase di kawasan Simokerto adalah dilakukan penambahan jumlah pompa dengan kapasitas yang sama di pompa Simolawang, perencanaan pompa di saluran sekunder yang tidak mampu menampung debit banjir serta direncanakan pelebaran saluran pada beberapa saluran tersier. Adapun solusi lainnya ialah dengan melakukan perawatan secara berkala terhadap saluran untuk meminimalisasi sedimen yang ada pada saluran dan perawatan berkala pada pompa yang sudah ada.

Surabaya is the biggest city in East Java. And due to globalization era, Surabaya becomes a city with rapid growth in every aspect including development sector. This growth is influenced by increases in economic changes as well as the city development that eventually cause changes in land use. As the city lacks absorption areas, many urban issues emerge including flood. One of the areas affected by flood is Simokerto, an important area in the city since it becomes an access to Central Surabaya from Madura.
In regards to the aforementioned condition, this final project aimed to analyze if the channel capacity can accommodate flood discharge, whether Simolawang pump capacity is sufficient to accelerate water discharge to Simokerto channel. Furthermore, the study tried to find the best solution if the channel capacity cannot accommodate planned flood discharge and pump system cannot work optimally.
The analyzed drainage system was only a small part of the system in Simokerto and was directly related to Simolawang pump and Simokerto channel. The analysis included channel dimension, channel capacity and pump capacity. Furthermore, Log Pearson type III was employed to calculate rainfall plan, Monoboe to measure rain intensity and rational formula to calculate flood discharge, before it was compared with the calculation of current channel capacity. Calculating flood
hydrograph on inflow and outflow pump was also performed in the study.
In the study, the writer proposed some solutions to solve problems in the drainage system in Simokerto, including by increasing the amount of pumps with the same capacity in Simolawang pump, pump planning in the secondary channel that was unable to accommodate flood discharge as well as widening channels in some tertiary channels. Another solution is by performing regular channel maintenance to minimize the existing sediment on it and periodic maintenance of the pumps.
