Abstract

=================================================================

Indonesia have the demand of fertilizer that increase continously. While the production is limited in the same time an excess use of inorganic fertilizer could be harmful the ground, so that we need to develop organic fertilizers using waste water of old coconut which amount is very abundant in Indonesia. This study aims to use waste water of coconut as media to manufacture of liquid organic fertilizers, studies influence the ratio of activator (EM4) against microbes Azotobacter chroococcum and microbes Bacillus mucilaginosus on waste water of coconut to improving nutrient and observing the results in the growth of plants (spinach, mustard and kale) by using liquid fertilizer from waste water of coconut. Variable used is the addition of the activator EM4 100 % , Azotobacter chroococcum 100 % , Bacillus mucilaginosus 100 % , mix of 2 microbes , mix of 3 microbes and control negative. From the final analysis obtained the best results is the mix of EM4, Azotobacter chroococcum and Bacillus mucilaginosus (1: 1: 1) that could increase concentration of N by 100 %, P by 1,87 %, K by 287,5 % and decline of C by 75.81 % . From our observation fertilization in plants , obtained the growth from stems and leaves of spinach , mustard and kale is the largest in the mix of EM4 , Azotobacter chroococcum and Bacillus mucilaginosus ( 1: 1: 1 ), respectively 5.5 cm; 0.625 cm , 1.5 cm; 1.075 cm and 1.525 cm; 0.875 cm.
