Abstract
Base Oil adalah bahan dasar untuk pembuatan pelumas memiliki bentuk kental dengan viskositas sebesar 25,43 cSt dengan menggunakan bahan baku limbah plastik. Latar Belakang pendirian pabrik ini karena menipisnya Sumber daya alam fosil sehingga base oil yang berasal dari crude oil yang jumlahnya terbatas dan tidak dapat diperbarui akan digantikan bahan alternatif yaitu bahan sintetis dari limbah plastik. Proses Pembuatan Base ada 6 yaitu solvent refined, combine catalytic hydrocracking, penambahan polimer hydrocracking, polimerisasi, esterifikasi, dan pyrolysis. Pada pabrik kami menggunakan proses pyrolysis, kelebihan menggunakan proses pyrolysis yaitu menggunakan bahan baku dengan memanfaatkan limbah plastik.. Prinsip dari proses produksi base oil dan gasoline adalah merubah limbah plastik (PE) dengan cara proses pyrolisis dengan ruang pembakaran dengan suhu 524 oC, untuk proses selanjutnya hydrocracking dan hydrogenasi. Kemudian tahapan proses yaitu untuk memisahkan campuran dialirkan dalam suatuu kolom distilasi 1 pada tekanan atmosferik untuk memisahkan antara gas gas (C3H8) dan >C5 hasilkan kemudian di distilasi kembali dengan menggunakan kolom distilasi II dengan proses distillation system pada tekanan atmosfer. Proses distillation complex memisahkan gasoline (C8) sebagai produk atas sedangkan produk bawah beupa base oil (C16). Pabrik ini direncanakan beroperasi secara kontinyu dengan kapasitas produksi pabrik Base Oil ini sebesar 145.000 ton /tahun yang akan didirikan di Paciran, Kabupaten Lamongan. Bahan baku utama pabrik ini adalah Limbah Plastik dan PE. Produk yang dihasilkan pabrik ini adalah Base Oil dan Gasoline. ============================================================================================== Base Oil is the base material for lubricant manufacture having viscosity of viscosity of 25,43 cSt by using plastic waste material. Background to the establishment of this plant due to the depletion of fosil resources so that the base oil from crude oil which is limited and not renewable will be replaced by alternative materials that is synthetic material from plastic waste. Base Making Process 6 is solvent refined, combine catalytic hydrocracking, addition of hydrocracking polymer, polymerization, esterification, and pyrolysis. At the factory we use the process of pyrolysis, the advantages of using pyrolysis process is using raw materials by utilizing plastic waste .. The principle of the production process of base oil and gasoline is to change the waste of plastic (PE) by the process of pyrolisis with combustion chamber with temperature 524oC, for the next process Hydrocracking and hydrogenation. Then the process step is to separate the mixture in a distillation column 1 at atmospheric pressure to separate the gas gas (C3H8) and> C5 produce then distillation again by using distillation column II by distillation system at atmospheric pressure. The distillation complex separates gasoline (C8) as the top product while the bottom product is base oil (C16). This plant is planned to operate continuously with the production capacity of this Base Oil plant of 145,000 tons / year to be established in Paciran, Lamongan District. The main raw materials of this plant are Waste Plastics and PE. The products produced by this factory are Base Oil and Gasoline
