Abstract

meningkatnya perkembangan teknologi. Salah satu teknologi yang telah banyak digunakan masyarakat adalah Kulkas (Domestic Refrigerator) yang menggunakan unsur refrigerant sebagai media pendingin. Media pendingin ini dianggap tidak ramah lingkungan karena dapat merusak lapisan ozon bumi. Oleh karena itu dibuat sistem pendinginan ramah lingkungan dengan menggunakan rangkaian thermoelectric “TEC1-12705”¸ heatsink dan fan-heatsink yang dirangkai menjadi satu sebagai media dan sumber dingin pada kotak, Cool Box. Cool Box yang telah terisolasi dengan polyurethena dan polypropylena. Berdasarkan Data Logger yang diambil secara berkala setiap 3 menit percobaan, hasil data temperatur terendah dari sumber dingin adalah 20,5 oC dengan durasi waktu satu jam percobaan . ============================================================================================== Today’s human needs are increasing as the technology develops. One technology that has been widely used by the public is Refrigerator which uses the element refrigerant as a cooling medium. This cooling medium is considered not enviromentally friendly because it can damage the earth’s ozone. Therefore an enviroment-friendly cooling system is made using a series of thermoelectric TEC1-12705, heatsink dan fan-heatsink are strung together into one as the media and the source of the cool box, cool box which has been isolated by polyurethena and polypropylena. Based on the data logger that taken periodically every 3 minutes. The lowest temperatue is 20,5 oC obtained from the cold source within one hour experiment
