Abstract

Pendidikan sekularisme di Indonesia cenderung menciptakan kualitas SDM yang rendah. Untuk itu, perlu adanya peningkatan mutu melalui pembentukan karakter dalam proses pendidikan, khususnya lembaga pendidikan islam agar tercipta peserta didik yang berilmu, beriman dan berakhlak mulia. Namun, kadangkala dalam pelaksanaannya belum maksimal.
Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk mendapatkan solusi terbaik. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan cara observasi dan wawancara. Berdasarkan metodologi tersebut, ditemukan permasalahan seperti sirkulasi aktivitas kurang kondusif atau belum optimal, sistem pendidikan masih tradisional dan monoton sehingga siswa malas atau bosan, serta masalah lain yaitu berkaitan dengan desain yang belum menampakkan identitasnya sebagai sekolah islam.
Desain yang akan diterapkan pada Madrasah Mambaul Hasan Al-Misbah diharapkan menciptakan lingkungan yang nyaman, kondusif dan optimal dengan fasilitas yang baik dan penerapan desain yang sesuai. Solusi desain berupa penerapan konsep flexible learning pada ruang kelas, konsep fun pada ruang perpustakaan dan konsep desain tema islami dengan nuansa Turki Utsmaniyah sebagai simbol kejayaan islam. Aplikasi desain berupa penerapan konsep warna dan bentuk pada elemen ruang seperti konsep warna Turki Utsmaniyah (beige, terracotta, biru) pada dinding, pola lantai shaff pada masjid sekolah untuk sholat dan pada ruang kelas untuk praktek ibadah, serta bentukan geometri islam pada plafon, dinding dan furnitur.

Secularism education in Indonesia tends to create a low quality of human resources. For that, need quality improvement through the formation of character in the education process, especially Islamic educational institutions to create learners who knowledgeable, faithful and noble character. However, sometimes the implementation is not maximized.
For that, need to do further research to get the best solution. The research method is done by observation and interview. Based on the methodology, found some problems such as circulation of activity is less conducive or not optimal, the education system is still traditional and monotonous so that students are lazy or bored, as well as other problems related to the design that has not revealed its identity as a school of Islam.
The design that will be applied to Madrasah Mambaul Hasan Al-Misbah is expected to create a comfortable, conducive and optimal environment with good facilities and the application of appropriate design. Design solution is application of the concept of flexible learning in the classroom, the concept of fun in the library space and the concept of Islamic theme design with the nuance of Ottoman Turkey as a symbol of the glory of Islam. Application of design that is the concept of color and shape on the elements of space such as the Ottoman Turkish color concept (beige, terracotta, blue) on the wall, shaff floor pattern in the school mosque for prayer and in the classroom for pray practice, and the formation of Islamic geometry on the ceiling, wall and furnitures.
