Abstract

Generator sebagai penyedia daya listrik dalam sistem, generator sangat dijaga untuk tidak trip. Tripnya generator akan sangat berpengaruh pada sistem. Sehingga generator harus dijaga untuk tidak mudah trip, namun masih dalam batas aman untuk generator beroperasi. Untuk menjaga keandalan kerja generator, generator membutuhkan skema proteksi yang berfungsi untuk menyeleksi dan mengisolir generator ketika terjadi gangguan. Skema proteksi yang digunakan untuk generator dengan ukuran 1,5 MVA dengan tegangan 11KV adalah skema proteksi generator menengah. Skema proteksi generator menengah menggunakan relay 64F, 87, 46. 40, 51N, 32, 51V. Pengaturan parameter yang diterapkan pada relay membutuhkan perhitungan sesuai dengan kondisi sistem generator tersebut dipasang, dan selain itu terdapat juga nilai standar setting untuk beberapa fungsi relay. ============================================================================================= Generator as rotating machine and as primary electrical energy supplier must be designed with minimum failure, and sensitive to all fault possibility. There are few standards in the world to protect generator. Whether fault caused from generator internal, generator misoperation, or fault from the system which the generator is connected. Many type of relay is available for generator protection. From that circumstance, protection scheme, calculation, and analysis of generator protection relay is needed to maintain continuity, life time, and energy supply of the synchronous generator. Protection scheme used to protect generator sized of 1.5 MVA and 11KV is a medium generator protection scheme. Generator is protected using 64F, 87, 46. 40, 51N, 32, 51V relay. The setting is designed to suit the generator and the system it installed, and few of the setting is standard that can be applied.
