Abstract

Tren belanja online di tahun 2015 ini semakin meningkat di Surabaya. Namun tren tersebut sejajar dengan kenaikan angka penipuan belanja lewat media online yang awalnya jumlah kasus yang tercatat dari 22 kasus tahun 2011 menjadi 123 kasus pada tahun 2015. Hal ini menandakan bahwa jumlah kasus meningkat lima kali lipat hingga 2015. Pihak Polda Jawa Timur sendiri selain melakukan tindakan represif juga melakukan tindakan preventif berupa sosialisasi di lembaga – lembaga masyarakat Surabaya, tetapi dampak dari sosialisasi tersebut masih belum signifikan. Melihat tingginya tingkat kejahatan penipuan belanja online di Surabaya, perancang membuat perancangan video untuk mencegah penipuan ketika berbelanja online. Terdapat 2 jenis luaran video, yaitu video Education ( 1 video ) dan video Awareness ( 3 video ). Dalam menentukan strategi komunikasi pada konsep video, perancang menggunakan metode survey, deep interview dan analisa data. Sebagai acuannya berupa studi eksisting, dan studi tentang tren penipuan belanja online. Harapannya dengan adanya video ini akan membantu sosialisasi Polda Jawa Timur ke masyarakat menjadi lebih efektif dan mampu mencegah terjadinya tindak kejahatan penipuan ketika berbelanja online di Surabaya.

The Trend of online shopping in 2015 is increasing in Surabaya. However, the trend is parallel to the increase in the number of online frauds through online media which initially recorded the number of cases from 22 cases in 2011 to 123 cases in 2015. This indicates that the number of cases increased five times until 2015. East Java Police Repressive action also undertakes preventive action in the form of socialization in Surabaya society institutions, but the impact of the socialization is still not significant. Seeing the high level of online shopping fraud crime in Surabaya, the designer makes video design to prevent fraud when shopping online. There are 2 types of video outputs, namely Video Education (1 video) and Awareness video (3 videos). In determining the communication strategy on video concept, the designer uses survey method, deep interview and data analysis. As a reference to existing studies, and the study of online shopping fraud trends. The designer hope, with this video will help socialization about online fraud of East Java Police to the community become more effective and able to prevent the occurrence of crime fraud when shopping online by themselves in Surabaya.
