Abstract

========== In this study discussed the problem of motion angle control with two degrees of freedom, namely: sway and yaw. The vessel requires control that is capable of steering the ship moving toward its intended destination. The guidance system is represented using the Dubins Track to be controlled using the Disturbance Compensating Model Predictive Control (DC-
MPC) method. The purpose of such control is to maintain the movement of the vessel that is represented by the dynamic model so that the ship moves according to the guidance system that is given to the surging sea conditions. Dynamic model of ship maneuver used is dynamic ship model Davidson Schiff. The DC-MPC method is the development of the Predictive Control Model (MPC) based on feedback control. This method is one of the alternatives to the completion of the advanced
control design to overcome the interference provided directly. In this method, the definition of disturbance is given to the system first. Then the optimization is done on the system so get disturbance compensating compensation interference. Furthermore, simulation using MATLAB software with the
influence of the type of trajectory and the influence of the prediction horizon on the control result obtained that the DC-MPC method can be applied well to produce the angle of motion of the ship and the small error of the difference between the reference trajectory and the output
