Abstract

Sampai saat ini masih banyak ditemui berbagai permasalahan terkait distribusi pangan atau
produk di Indonesia. Masalah jaringan distribusi pangan seringkali menjadi penyebab
ketidaklancaran pasokan pangan khusus pada daerah yang wilayahnya sulit dijangkau.
Kondisi ini tentu akan memicu terjadinya perbedaan harga pangan. Salah satu perbedaan
harga yang terjadi adalah pada produk agro industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui perbandingan biaya antara moda transportasi laut yaitu kapal petikemas, kapal
bulk carrier dan kapal general cargo dan moda transportasi darat yaitu truk petikemas dan
truk general cargo dan pengaruhnya terhadap harga produk agro industri. Penggunaan
metode optimasi dengan biaya pengiriman minimum sebagai kriteria utama serta
pemenuhan permintaan akan memberikan solusi moda transportasi yang sesuai.
Berdasarkan hasil optimasi, moda transportasi kapal petikemas merupakan moda yang
optimum dengan minimum cost untuk pengiriman produk gula, kakao, dan kopi.
Pengiriman gula didapatkan unit cost sebesar Rp. 337/kg dengan pengaruh biaya distribusi
sebesar 8.42%, pengiriman kopi didapatkan unit cost sebesar Rp. 610/kg dengan pengaruh
biaya distribusi sebesar 11.10%, pengiriman kakao didapatkan unit cost sebesar Rp. 577/kg
dengan pengaruh biaya distribusi sebesar 6.79%. Sedangkan moda transportasi general
cargo merupakan moda yang optimum untuk pengiriman produk teh dengan unit cost
sebesar Rp. 710/kg dengan pengaruh biaya distribusi sebesar 23.68%.

Nowdays many encountered various problems related to the distribution of food or
products in Indonesia. Food distribution network problems are often the cause of food
supply problems particular in areas that are difficult to reach area. This condition will
trigger food price difference. One of the price differences occurs is the agro industrial
products. This study aims to determine the cost comparison between modes of transport,
container ships, bulk carrier and general cargo and land transport modes, container truck
and general cargo truck and its effect on the price of agro-industrial products. The use of
optimization methods with minimum delivery cost as the main criteria as well as the
fulfillment of a demand will provide an appropriate mode of transportation solutions.
Based on the optimization results, the mode of transportation of container ships is the
optimum mode with the minimum cost for delivery of sugar products, cocoa, and coffee.
Delivery of sugar obtained the unit cost of Rp. 337 / kg with effect distribution costs for
8:42%, obtained coffee delivery unit cost of Rp. 610 / kg with effect distribution costs by
11:10%, cocoa deliveries obtained the unit cost of Rp. 577 / kg with effect distribution
costs amounted to 6.79%. While the mode of transportation general cargo is the optimum
mode for delivery of tea products with a unit cost of Rp. 710 / kg with effect distribution
costs amounted to 23.68%.
