Abstract

Kebutuhan listrik akan tenaga listrik terus meningkat terutama pada sistem kelistrikan Sumatera Utara 150/275kV. Dalam upaya memenuhi kebutuhan tenaga listrik di Sumatera Utara terdapat 5 penambahan pembangkit baru yaitu PLTP Sipaholon Ria-Ria, PLTA Batang Toru, PLTA Simonggo 2, PLTA Sibundong 4, dan PLTU Sumut 2 dengan kapasitas total 1295 MW. Dari hasil simulasi Pelepasan generator,pelepasan satu saluran dan saluran ganda sistem tidak kehilangan sinkronisasi. Pada study kasus pelepasan generator sistem hanya kehilangan daya 5% dari total daya yang dibangkitkan. Begitu pula pada study kasus single pole auto reclosing saat terjadi hubung singkat 1 fasa ketanah pada saluran sei rotan-percut terjadi penurunan tegangan saat kondisi beban peak 66.7% dan pada kondisi beban normal 68.63% dari tegangan nominalnya dengan waktu CB open 0.2 detik dan CB close 0.9 detik setelah gangguan. dan study kasus critical clearing time saat terjadi hubung singkat 3 fasa pada saluran sei rotan-percut waktu yang direkomendasikan saat kondisi peak 0.300-0.301 detik dan kondisi normal 0.625-0.626 detik. ======================================================================================
Electricity requirement for electrical power continues to increase on the electrical systemof North Sumatera 150/270kV. In order to fulfill electricity requirement in the North Sumatera, there are 5 additional of new power plant, such as PLTP Sipaholon Ria-Ria, PLTA Batang Toru, PLTA Simonggo 2, PLTA Sibundong 4, and PLTU Sumut 2 with total capacity of 1295 MW. From the simulation result of generator out, single circuit trip and double circuit trip, system does not lose synchronization. In the case study generator out, system loses only 5% power from total power generated. Similarly, in the case study of single pole auto reclosing when there is a short circuit of 1 phase to the ground at the sei rotan-percut line occur a voltage drop in peak load condition of 66.7% and in the normal load conditions 68.63% of its nominal voltage with CB open time of 0.2 seconds and CB close 0.9 seconds after interruption. and case study of critical clearing time when there is a short circuit of 3 phase at the sei rotan-percut line, recommended time in the peak condition is 0.300-0.301 seconds and in the normal condition is 0.625-0.626 seconds.
