Abstract

Genting Oil Kasuri Pte. Ltd adalah operator yang dipersiapkan untuk mengembangkan
Blok Kasuri.
Setelah mengetahui lokasi studi mengalami soil
liquefaction, selanjutnya memperkirakan kedalama settlement. Pada gempa dengan Mw
6 = 35.91 cm, Mw 6.5 = 39.15 cm, Mw 7 = 41.95 dan Mw 7.5 = 44.39.

Genting Oil Kasuari Pte. Ltd. is an operator pointed to expand Kasuari Block. There
are three location chosen in West Papua; Katsuari, Sumuri, and Bintuni. Study in
location area shows that its soil condition mostly are sand with potential of soil
liquefaction. Soil Liquefaction potential evaluated based on the Safety Factor (SF)
which is comparison between Cyclic Resistance Ratio (CRR) and Cyclic Stress Ratio
(CSR). CSR value calculated by earthquake parameter, while the Standard Penetration
Test (SPT) use to calculate CRR. Result show that earthquake with magnitude 5 is not
potentially cause Soil Liquefaction, but earthquake with magnitude 6, 6.5, and 7.5 will
cause Soil Liquefaction. This result based on SF with value less than 1.0. After Soil
Liquefaction has been identified, then estimate depth of Settlement. It is gotten
earthquake with Mw 6 = 35.91 cm, Mw 6.5 = 39.15 cm, Mw 7 = 41.95 cm, and Mw 7.5
= 44.39 cm.
